I got Mantle last year without spending a dime. I played the hell out of the game. Finished every conquest and moment that my skill level would allow. It’s their money that they are blowing, but to me it seems pathetic.

I think I’ve been grinding more than most other players but when I play the guy who’s 39 and 32 even I’m impressed
Don’t know why everyone here is so mad. Yeah he spent a ton of money but has the means to do so. For me, and a lot of other people, the grind of getting the cards is what makes it fun. For him and others, it’s about using the best cards to beat people online and for basically exclusive youtube content, regardless of how you get the card.
Half of these comments just sound like pure jealousy that he can spend thousands on a video game.

If you get Chipper to parallel 3 he gets gold fielding at third which definitely makes him more usable

I mean the thing about this Chipper is the fact that at parallel 3 he’ll get a gold shield on defense, he’s a switch hitting bat, and at parallel 5 he’ll have a serviceable arm, compare this to 99 Manny Machado from 20, IMO Machados swing is doo doo, while Chipper has one of the best swings in the game, of course Machado is a way better defender, but Chipper has like 30 more speed when he’s parallel 5. This also allows for bums like me who couldn’t make WS for 99 Chipper in 19 and couldn’t go 12-0 in BR in 20 to actually use the best Chipper in the game 😂😂😂😂😂

Papi is a good card, but I don't think he's collect entire AL legend elite. Chipper, I think is a great card but last year's Mantle seemed so much more deserving.

I earned all the Live Roster cards but 2. Every time I had the stubs to buy the 2 cards, the price went up. Then I got a 99 Christian Yelich card and, I didn't have that card but someone put in a bid for it for 600,000 stubs and at first I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but it said 600,000. So, I sold it, bought the other 2 cards for 120,000 total, and bought some other high priced cards and then I was down to nothing. I couldn't believe that bid.

I strongly suggest not putting any money into the game, just grind out offline play (conquest, showdown and moments). Collect one division at a time. And DO NOT buy any packs, the risk/reward just isn’t there.
