The 92 string shirt is literally based on a past villa shirt..
Can you do a video comparing the Championship and the premier league and maybe even say which one you prefer? You could base it on how competitive each one is, the fans, the grounds and away days and anything else you can think of to compare. I personally prefer the Championship.

1991-97 were my favourites and at a push I would probably go for the 92-93 one.

But I don’t like how big the badge was it looked weird.
The playoff winning season one 19/20 is in my opinion the best we’ve ever had, it just looks amazing also it was voted best football shirt for 19/20 by SkySports so people took notice of how elegant it looked.

My faves are the 1980 Umbro kit. The muller one and the Luke one. I have to say I like the current kit too. I have a large Luke home shirt Max. Any offers? Do the same with away shirts......

That kit is worth a fair bit. It's a third kit from years back. Pretty rare so I'd imagine it's not in the greatest shape which may be the reason for the poncho look.

Good video but I have to disagree with some of your's and Simon's opinions on a few of our shirts, there was a differing of opinion on about maybe 3 or 4 of them but on the whole, I agreed with the majority of your places, at least you've kept me occupied for almost half an hour anyway with Villa related content! Keep on producing these videos for us in the meantime Max! UTV! 👊🏾
Simon/Max, many Villa shirts in the first half of the 20th Century had string or cord around the colour! So the first shirt on here reflects that.

Have the 95-97 long sleeve and 97/98 but has a heaver feel...NTL ones I have liked them also.
My only major disagreements are the very first one (with laces) which I find appalling (I wasn't around back then though, so it had no specific emotional value for me), and the 13/14 which I think is class, love the v neck and the blue on the sides, very good, maybe even elite

I will say the only good thing about the 17/18 unibet shirt was that the custom name and numbers (if you had them on) doesn't peel off after 5 minutes 😂
If you do the away kits I suggest you also show some pictures of players wearing them, it gives a much better idea of how they fit

Shirt is rubbish and by far the worst shirt I have. The reason for this is the material was rubbish you only had to look at it and it lugged and pulled and secondly the shirt was released without a sponsor in place You had to take the shirt back once muller were in place to get it ironed on. After a couple off washes it faded and peeled. Utterly SHIT. The LUKE shirt was the best I do agree with that. Other than that your not wrong 👍
Max, the 2nd “ROVER” shirt hs blue going on the shoulders up to the collar so not exactly the same apart from the collar as Simon said (how did you both miss that?) Also, I hate stripes on home shirts and all claret shirts so I’m difficult to please.
The Muller striped shirt is cool.
The chevrons are connected to Hummel, not a particular design choice.
The one Simon is wearing was my first ever Villa shirt so have good memories of it, but it is a plain jane
Only one I disagree with was th first one, Mita copiers with the drawstrings on - that has to be up in the elite shirts for me - McGrath, Yorke, Saunders….! Happy happy memories…. Hence I have the original…. (Although Large is slightly tighter than it was)..
The Luke shirt would have been unbeatable with the acorns sponsor

2019 playoff shirt was amazing, brought for £50 had it for 7 months wore it to death then sold it for £80.
My Favourites are the 92 and the Luke top. The Ntls and the Cows tops were just so bad, especially Hummels first attempt, what was going on there? 😂

Villa shirts should always be claret shirts with blue sleeves. It's amazing the stripey kits are so popular now as I remember back in 93 the Muller kits were not that greatly received. I do like it but the 92-93 and 95-97 were better. 99-00 and 01-02 were poor. Of the recent ones I did like the design of the Macron kits but material and fit wise they were not great. Under Armour was good but the shade a little bit pinker than normal. Bit meh about the current seasons top.

For me one of my favourites is the Nike / acorns round neck... For many reasons including the sponsor.
I hate advertising companies, and refuse to wear a gambling advert, and as for sponsors on shirts this is a complete exception.
It's the only shirt I own that the sponsor has completely peeled off now 🤷🏽♂️
