As far as I know still to this day him and that truck are the only vehicle to make it up a certain water fall section on a class 5 trail in North cali..without a winch. It may not look like much from the outside but it has like a 2000 to one crawl ratio and all those gears mounted low through the centerline of that truck make it have a very deceiving low center of gravity it will easily out crawl any thing period.
Love it. Reminds me of my 74 Landcruiser. I could bail out, pee, take 10 steps and hop back in on steep hills with low range and throttle on the dash beside the choke.
