In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. I use a few mods for Slay the Spire. All of them are Quality-of-Life improvements and do not have any effect on the gameplay. Here are all of the mods I have active:
Slay the Relics Exporter, used for the live stream: steamcommunity...
Relic Stats, to keep track of how many times the relic effects happened: steamcommunity...
UI Sliders, to reposition the Discard and Exhaust piles, so that they are not hidden behind the camera: steamcommunity...

Wrist blade has to be one of the most “yep I’m building THAT” deck today relics out there. Which is of course the exact opposite of how you SHOULD play.

Either that or busted crown becayse crown gives you no other choice lol
Bullet Time is my favorite card with Wrist blade since attacks become instantly upgraded, especially something like Dagger Spray.
Run so op the only thing that could damage Baalor was his own sneeze.
Love the unironic Storm of Steel after the many times you've expressed your disdain for it. I think this proves a point you've made a bunch of times where the way to beat the heart more consistently is to learn to win in different ways.
I think it really shows that there's a place for almost any card.
Bottled backstab definitely the mvp this run

Just wanted to thank you for your videos. Thanks to your "minimalist" one, I managed to get that achievement.
It was a super strange run too, which started with a boss swap into Pandora's box that ended up beating Time Eater with FTL, Coolheaded, Glacier, Melter and... Charged Battery, I think? But it was awesome until the end!

Average Spire players know wrist blade and the accuracy power combo very well. I look forward to watching how an elite player goes ahead with it.
Wait.. you can snipe the Act 1 boss with the First-3-Fights perk? How?? I've never seen that type of setup.. is there a known seed where I can do this?
I tried to do this last weekend and I missed on the last event cause it was a fight :(
That's like 1/100 thousand seeds
If you can grab an early juzu bracelet it helps a LOT, but otherwise it's really luck of the map, you have to take a full ? path and still avoid random hallway fights through it.
It's very very rare, though much easier with an early Juzu.
there probably is a known seed but yes it is technically possible with a lucky question mark set up, can even snipe an elite and act 1 boss if youre lucky enough
interesting. with what you had going, in act 2 shop, i definitely would have decided to pick up accuracy, another cloak and dagger, and finisher.
i guess i'll see if you end up with it anyway, but finisher with a shiv deck seems just bonkers damage
Finisher is typically a win more card in a deck like this, or an inconsistebt brick at worst. You should usually take it when you lack a better damage scaling option or have mediocre scaling.
i will never forget the first silent run my fiancee ever did, she got two infinite blades, wrist blade, and a nightmare, and would nightmare infinite blades just to be able to play like five shivs every turn. to this day i do not know how that run won, maybe there was a wraith form in the deck but its been years now so its unclear. definitely a bullet time in there somewhere tho bc the deck needed ungodly mana

there's an event that lets you trade a relic but i don't remember if it's allowed to ask for a bottle. he took it "for lulz" as the kids used to say.
@@kaiserruhsam n'loth can ask for bottles, so that's a reason to do it. Also bottling a card prevents that card from being an option to remove in the "falling" event
yeah i was talking about n'loth. forgot about falling because backstab usually falls off late
Love a good shiv deck, so sad to be short the money for the shuriken, would have been a nice helping hand to speed up the damage. GG

I have a question, why didnt you bottel the dash+? You have extra energy on turn 1 and its both attack and block.

why did u remove choke but kept eviscerate? doesnt choke work quite well with shivs?
Could I recommended that you let us see the ending screen just before you start a new run or hope off for the day?
