I’ve watched a few of these, and they are all great, but you deserve way more views, so I would respectfully suggest thatif you use an over the keys position for your camera,….. well firstly I would be a happy veiwer, and you will exponentially increase your views. Long sentence. Thanks.

Tom, just amazing. Each intro you played was a tease, where I'm sure we ALL start to sing along, just wanting to hear more of a song, and then you stopped. You only continued to play another famous tune loved by all, so it was worth it! Totally awesome. Looking forward to the next!

I own the sheet music for some of these, so I know you are doing this by ear…and I’m jealous! That is a great talent to have.
As a kid I also used to play piano intros in a similar way…stopping when the words were about to start so that it turned into a medley. I did it for a couple reasons: 1) the intros were so recognisable and people really liked them, and 2) I wasn’t playing by ear and the arrangements were so poor back then that often it was not worth learning the whole song.

Agreed. Always loved the intros and some songs just don’t translate all that well to play the vocal melody.
