We need a trader joes, more affordable gym options, and a bring dunkin donuts please! We dont need anymore soda places, cookie places or car washes in utah!
I agree with you on needing better gym options. Summit has a monopoly, their prices are absolutely absurd, they have unethical business practices, and I hate how many locals seem to bow down and worship them for whatever reason.
Trader Joes makes 40% of their sales on average per store from selling wine. Unless they can see a potential increase to make up for that 40% loss, they will not move here.
$5 says that Swig will be the 2nd tenant in the new building next to Guru's. Pork Bellies is awesome. They have a buy 1, get 1 at 50% coupon in the green pages coupon book (as does Guru's).
Sadly places like Trader Joe's, Raising Canes, Sam's Club, Whole Foods, etc... said they may not ever come here due to the fact that land and construction costs are so expensive and how we're so out of the way from any major cities and other locations. That's why Logan, UT has everything I just mentioned and St. George doesn't.
Yes and one other thing I also heard, is that some retailers have a minimum threshold on population size where they choose to operate. For example, if they wanted to see a minimum of 300,000 people we are not there yet in Washington Country. A google search shows the estimated population size of Washington County in 2023 is about 192,927 people. As one example I found online, while not sure how accurate, states that "Whole Foods requires, within a 3-mile trade area radius, 250,000 people and a median income of $75,000."
I tried Chicken Express recently for the first time. I have never been a fan of Greek food in general, because I don't like the spices they use. Their chicken was actually perfectly cooked, but the spices ruined it for me. Their ribs are just OK, but they have a lot of fat on them. Their beef kabobs were actually absolutely delicious, so I did find something there that I love. Next time I go, I will be ordering a bunch of the beef kabobs!
@@tigerworldwide Hopefully it works. Crack Shack $14 sandwiches a block away from Chik-fil-a $5 sandwiches does not. I looked on the owner website and they have some Asian cusiunes. That would be smarter.
People are more interested in healthier food options these days lol. Like getting junk food is hard or something lol. They need tropical smoothie, greens & protein and more salad buffet options. Sams club, a non alcoholic entertainment bar with live bands would be good to for the many who don't drink, but still want to enjoy same fun. Alot is closed on Sunday too, understand the religious here. But in reality. With 2024 creeping & all the new growth population. It needs to be suited for everyone. They could definitely use another good asian style seafood buffet too. Not Chinese.
I get so mad when I keep seeing all these cookie, donut, soda shops etc. popping up. We need a Traders Joe and good restaurants instead of the FAT causing businesses! Our country has too many obese people.

@@petef.4361 yup they are insanely expensive and trap you in a contract for 2 years. We need like a crunch fitness , Eos fitness or another Vasa.
Less soda and cookies!!!! More Donuts!!!!!

@@johnvann7027 we have them like 4 of them in our state and they don't sell wine in their stores here and the stores are thriving.
The angles and cuts in this video are incredible! I felt like I was there.
Good to hear! That's the goal. Appreciate the feedback
Thanks for the video man!
I wish a TraderJoes would make its way to St.George or a Hobby Lobby…
Just wait and see
Hobby Lobby is coming 2025 to St. George Place (the old Kmart)
Happy to hear about Hobby Lobby coming in 2025… 🙌
In a year, that's going to be a pretty happening part of town hopefully.@@macraeheppler

How do you find this info out, thanks for sharing!
Land owners, commercial real estate agents, developers, construction companies, business owners. Just a mix of all those
Another bank??? Sad that this town cannot find someone who will build another bowling alley

logan does not have trader joes or whole foods...
Will Express Chicken last as long as Crack Shack on Bluff did?
Crack Shack is just rebranding
