Hello there again. I just recently started with pampered chef so I have been watching a lot of your videos and visiting your website and FB page. you do a terrific job. This video is perfect and I am going to make yogurt. I just wanted to share about making yogurt with a milk alternative. It definitely is thinner no matter what kind you use but the one that seems to work best is Eden Organic Unsweetened Soy milk. I have to order it but it has been the best but is still think. Adding chia seeds it will thinking it up for you. If you soak just a tablespoon in water overnight you will see the texture and how it works as a thinkener. They do not disolve but they are tender. It has to be eden brand and it has to be the organic unsweetened. thank you for sharing so much information. I love it.

Does your cooker make a popping noise when sous vide? And a ding noise every hour or so? We sous vide spare ribs at 144 decrees for 48 hours.

Hi Marsha, it should do that every 5 minutes when you're using the sous vide setting, but you can turn it off.
This is from the Use & Care: the unit will vent about every 5 minutes. There will be a tone indicating this venting. To turn off the venting beep reminders, during the cooking cycle, press and hold START for 2 seconds. To stop the venting cycles when using a glass lid, during the cooking cycle, press STEAM-RELEASE for 2 seconds.

Hello I have this multi cooker and I am having a problem with the sous vide function. Can you please help me before I send this thing back to pamper chef. It gets all the way to the point where it tell me to add the orange bag which has my salmon inside. It say add but after I add nothing happens after I press the button to start. Add stays there for over an hour and it never start red to count down. Am I missing something? Please help me

Good Morning! Are you pressing and holding or just pressing? I can't remember off the top of my head which one you do for this setting but once it says add, you add the food bag to the water and press start (I think you press and hold) and then the time should start counting down.

I can’t remember to be honest. I think I did both and when I held it, it started over going back to RUN and repeating the process all over again. I will try again. Thank you for responding.

Update! The instructions in the book said to press and hold which actually cause it to start over putting it back in the run stage. I found some sous vide instructions which said NOT to press and hold but to just hit the start button and add will go away and it will display the time set. That worked🙌🏽. I’m all set now and happy.😃

@@lngiles1 I am so glad ou got it to work. I know that initially they had it wrong on the instruction manually but I thought they fixed that. I'm so sorry for the confusion
