As a United fan I always admired Nottingham Forest. I was obsessed with Brian clough and his 2 CL triumphs with them I'd watch old footage and read books about how they did it, Glad they're back at big stage again and hope they stay in PL.

Hammers fan here to congratulate Forest. I'm nearly 60 now and am still convinced that Cloughie winning the league and two European Cups at Forest ranks amongst the great managerial achievements. Still miss the old boy. What a character.

My Husband Andy was born in England and grew up in Heanor, Derbyshire . He watches and listens to every game they play live from Colorado, USA. He was watching from Colorado and has been a N.F.F.C. fan since he was a child. He turns 60 this year. He is so happy and proud of his beloved club. Greetings from Argentina! I can't believe Forest is back in the Premier League! I thought I would never see this happen. I remember looking at how they were doing at the beginning of the season and they were doing so poorly! Amazing how things turned around. Many fans from different clubs are happy about this achievement, and there is a reason for that. Forest is a big club! And the joke about Forest having more European Cups than Arsenal, Spurs, City, PSG and Atletico isn't going to stop being funny anytime soon ;)

Our manager back then in Jan 2021 decided to send him away to guarantee game time (we had Will Hughes ahead in the pecking order & he's better than Garner)!

I'm happy that they are back in the prem. They played some great football this season. I'd say it was one of Liverpools toughest games this season when they met.
Huddersfield had their chance to spend some of their £170 million on better players when they were in Prem! Same as West Brom, Norwich, Watford! Yo-yo clubs got their chances and wasted the privelege! Forest deserve this, especially their great fans, great club, historic, and 90% of Prem fans will be happy about this! I kinda agree. Especially about clubs like Wigan, Fulham, Middlesbrough, Hull. Saying that, I do prefer Huddersfield compared to the others you mentioned. Stayed their once to watch football. Nice place, nice people, and an alright club. They personally however blew it for themselves when they got rid of David Wagner.
Forest’s stay will be very temporary. Huddersfield offered nothing up front, had two pens denied. Forest one poor fluke gaol.
No premiership quality whatsoever ,and you know it.

Villa Fan who`s a child of the 1970`s. Can`t tell you how happy i am to welcome our fellow European Champions back to the Big time. Was woken up by my Late Dad to watch Match of the Day to see that great Forest Team win the Top Flight Division straight from being promoted. People forget they played some marvellous football with Top Class players like Robertson, Gemmill, Woodcock, Withe, Shilton etc. The irrepressible Brian Clough but the Guy who was really underrated with their success was Peter Taylor.

@@KamleshMallick Since 1998 we have been relegated to the second division 6 times and have been promoted 6 times back to 1. Bundesliga again.
Since last year we have a positive freak as coach (Steffen Baumgart) who did a quite good job. This year we finished on 7. place and will play in Conference League.
2017/18 we played in UEFA Europa League.
But we never got again a team which almost had the quality like those of 1978.

When Cooper took over this club was looking like potential relegation team, he completely transformed this team.
That is rare to happen in English football now. Most of the time, the first 10 games seals your overall momentum for the rest of the season.

They haven't won any Champions Leagues they won two European Cups . The two tournaments are very, very different. Oh and as for not spending money Trevor Francis was Britain's first million pound footballer when they bought him. They bought Peter Shilton, Frank Gray, Larry Lloyd, Kenny Burns and John McGovern, that's over half their team.

I can't even express my hapiness. I've been a forest fan since 1972. I've supported them trough glory, and downfall. I did not think, I'll ever see them in the prem again, in my life. But after 23 seasons, it has finally happened, and I'm so happy, that I've seen it. Hopfully we won't get relegated.
You and Leeds will remain in the league. Stay faithful mate. Of course still sad the Bielsa era is over but its business. If he needs 2 go, he goes.

@@mortenoconnell7977 They have zero Champions League Cups. They do have two European Cups. the two tournaments are very, very different. In case you don't know in the Champions League you have to play a number of group games to qualify for the knock out stages. The old European Cup was a straight knock out competition comprised of only the Champions of a country and there was one game in the Preliminary round to get rid of one of the minnows. The rest of the minnows played from the first round on and there were no seedings so they got those 'giants' of European football Malmo in the final. Malmo by the way had beaten Monaco (just) Dynamo Kiev, Krakow and Austria Vienna to reach the final.
A well deserved win for Steve Cooper, all the forest squad, staff and of course the fans.
A difficult first season in the prem awaits.

So I had never seen Forest, but now I'm going to see them and I hope they keep in the Premier League, it's going to be difficult, but it all depends on them.
