For me it was more Adam Scott's character.

The sus guy asking about children is the guy who played Google in CollegeHumor's "If Google Was A Guy" series, and is the first of several actors from those videos to appear in Parks and Rec. (He is also in an upcoming episode of Always Sunny)

Andy wasn't intended to be a fleshed-out regular member of the cast and was instead used to give Ann Perkins (Rashida Jones) a way into the show's plot. In the Pilot episode of Parks and Recreation, Ann is introduced as a way to give the audience a perspective on this wacky government sitcom from an average person. While yes, the ensemble cast is primarily led by Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler), Ann is largely meant to be the voice of reason among the other characters' wacky antics and ideas, asking the more reasonable questions that those watching at home are probably asking themselves.
I'm a nurse, so Anne Perkins is a big favorite of mine.
This show starts out trying to be the office, but it turns into something very different, and still great :)
As it's been said, it takes a bit to hit its stride. But when it does...this is the show that memes were made for. Great reaction as always gents.

I'm so stoked the homies are reacting to PnR. It's a bit of an older show so there aren't many good reactors that have reacted to it, its a bit disappointing given it's easily a top 5 comfort shows for me. Excited for more!

I love Parks&Rec... BUT
The show changed A LOT from Season 1 (just 6 episodes) to Season 2, most characters seem "out of character" when you rewatch the first season after watching the whole show, and the humor is different -they were trying to make some sort of a spin-off from The Office with the same dry sarcastic humor but it didn't work out, so they changed the style for season 2.
When I recommend this series, I always suggest to skip season 1, you don't miss anything important and any plot advancements you catch up immediately. Then when you finish the show you can watch season 1, and it's kinda funnier since you get how different it was.
So, be patient, season 2 is very different and season 3 has some casting improvements that make it even better.
Parks and Rec is a great show. I actually prefer it over The Office. It definitely isn't laugh out loud funny all the time or as over the top as other shows but I think the humor is very good for what it is.
Be as positive as Leslie Knope. Nope.
