You can use alcohol free unscented baby wipes then use a leather cleaner/conditioner

Great box sorry for late reply haven't seen your post. Saddle soap was formulated to clean leather. May need to clean several times depending on type of leather. I use distilled water no chemicals to leave film . Buff after dries to natural luster.
