Can't find a voice like Whitney Houston. She didn't need to sexualized herself nor take her clothes off to be sexy. She always depended ONLY her voice to show her talent to the world that no other artist could do. It's crazy that everybody compares Whitney to other artists. She was different from everybody else. Missing this kind of music in this generation.
Normally I think those kind of statements are ridiculous, but I have to agree here. Today's pop is manufactured. Even when you have an artist with raw talent they're drowned out by auto tune and other things of that nature. The lyrics are constantly reused and altered to make it sound like a new song when in reality we've heard it literally hundreds of times before. Whitney was raw talent and emotion.

I am so truly sorry for your loss. I know that even though we know they are no longer in pain, that there’s always that part of us that wishes they were still here with us on the physical plane.
It is my “understanding” that it is the soul that chooses when to go and when to arrive. The soul has the ultimate free will. God doesn’t “take” anyone from us; no one dies before they are ready to go. However, please don’t confuse this with the conscious mind. Only true masters are usually so in sync with their soul that they know exactly what its agenda is. Your beloved husband may not have not had a clue that it was his time or even why he had to go through that terrible ordeal of cancer. I am in no way whatsoever saying that he chose to “leave” you. Not on any level that he was aware of. I am certain that consciously he wanted to stay with you for many years to come.
But let me also say this. The soul is limitless. It can be anywhere at once and even in multiple places at once. In the moment that he is presently on your mind you bring him to you. He is there with you in that instant. So you can keep singing your song to him and he will definitely hear it.
It’s okay if you don’t agree with this. It is only what I believe, and I thought I would share it with you to give you a little more peace of mind and of heart as you continue to process your grief of your loss for him and try to heal as best you can.
