Julie Robinson My thought exactly. Whoever was advising them on the "realism" got it wrong! They would not have decomtammed in a contaminated area. They would have moved into a decontamination area (often a separate tented area divided into three zones) they would have undressed in the hot zone, moved through a decontamination shower and put clean clothes on in a clean zone area.
I don't think they're supposed to be decontaminating, though. Those clothes are just a hospital-gown thing to cover them while their contaminated clothes are destroyed.
They just contaminated the clean clothes.
