Hello Didi, this is best analytical video that I have come across on inner self. I am able to understand the three determinants of thoughts:- 1. Information 2. Past Experiences 3. Belief System. I understand that the information which we intake makes our past experiences and in a way, constructs the belief system. Now, I have few questions here didi. 1) How can we replace the old belief system with a new belief system? Is it only through changing the quality of information that we intake? If yes, How much time it may take to replace the old belief system? 2) How can we detach ourselves from negative vibrations or from negative news streaming?
Om Shanti. As we become aware of our thoughts, let's check the belief system from which these arise. If we hold the belief system - Anger is necessary; then we will use anger to get work done. Even if we decide to work peacefully, it will be temporary. We need to create a new belief system - Anger is damaging, Love is the way to get work done. Experiment with this see the changes. If it is giving us a comfortable feeling, it means the belief system is the truth. In general, when we experiment with a belief system, check if - We are feeling lighter; Health is improving; Relationships are becoming simpler and Karmic Accounts are settling. Then that belief system is right for us. It is only one thought away. Let us remember that we become what we read, watch and listen. The first few hours in the morning, the absorption power of the mind is very high, so to take care of the quality of information consumed. Avoid news papers or news channels early in the morning. Consume information which fills you with kindness, happiness, acceptance, respect, compassion, harmony and unity. Share only uplifting content with others. Delete unhealthy messages without going through them.
