The US should have won 43-0 based on the ticky-tack penalty called on the US allowing Canada a cheap penalty kick and the massive amount that the American players were being literally run over and grabbed and how our keeper was literally bulldozed to open the goal for Canada to score at all. That was one of the most horrendously one-sided officiating performances I have ever had the misfortune to be forced to endure. They made watching Angel Hernandez umpiring behind the plate almost a joy to watch by comparison.
Bruh this ain't basketball, uswnt isn't beating any team 43-0 not even a bunch of pre-teens. If the penalty wasn't called the game would have ended 2-1 and we would have won without all the penalty shootout drama.
I agree with Reader and as well Riley points out. Yeah, officiating seemed favorably Canada. Our players got pushed, chopped down more and play go on… Dunn has given Adrian Leon a free Pk. Leon can easily get an Oscar for that act falling down at any feather touching, the 3 angles var shown that! And the drama get audiences hearts stopped with missing and making scores… it went wild and just like the inevitability, the USWNT always comes out a head!!! ⚽️🇺🇸👍🤩

Also, Canada got their first "goal" when Alyssa Naeher was literally bulldozed by a Canadian player, and no call was made. That alone makes the score 2-0 if we use your lack of logic. Add in all the penalty kicks that the US would have had, plus the fact that there would have been at least two red card elections against the Canadian side, which would have led to a US advantage of 11 against 8 or nine. Unlike hockey, you don't get an ejected player or their substitute back when a goal is scored. Getting the point on just how one-sided this game was yet? A Canadian player literally ran over Alyssa Naeher and took her out of the play, almost to the point you could say she was trying to take her completely out of the game. Shoulder lowered and head leading sort of stuff. That's how you intentionally try to injure a player. That's what the Canadian side was doing. The officiating crew was complicit in this crap. If you have a problem with the truth, I suggest you bother someone else who gives a damn for your Cannuck opinion.
