Courtship is a period during which a couple develop a romantic relationship, especially with a view to marriage. A number of stringent societal rules dictated the courtship period in the Victorian Era. In this livestream Historian Marie Bartlett (nee Walker) will give examples on the proper etiquette of courtship from etiquette books of the time period.
