  • @josepablolunasanchez1283

    There are different reasons for inflation:
    * Economic growth: Interest rates must be raised
    * Increase of price of imported goods. Eliminate restrictions to foreign producers or produce inside country.
    * Supply chain disruption: Products not reaching market on time. Fix supply chain
    * Speculation: Commodities are more attractive than financial products. In this case inflation ruins bond demand, and stock price down discourages investing in stocks. So commodities are the way to go. Make financial investments more profitable than commodity inflation.
    The warning here is that if the wrong solution is applied, stagflation hits, understanding stagflation impact in practical terms as inflation and starvation. Unfortunately, economy is not political. It works with the rules of macroeconomy. There is no leftist macroeconomy or right wing macroeconomy. Trying to see economy as if it was political is like driving a car while looking to one side. There is a high chance of a non happy ending.
    Macroeconomics touches everyone sooner and later, because actions bounce against the walls of the closed macroeconomical system with stakeholders inside. And this bounce does not care about political leaning.

    • @josepablolunasanchez1283
      @josepablolunasanchez1283 Před rokem

      @@huejanus5505 Nope. That money will not reach mainstreet (commodity market) unless there is speculation. If the money is buried in the financial system it will not cause inflation, and this is why during 2008 crisis there was no inflation despite huge amounts of money being printed.
      A good place to put excess money is stocks. Stock price inflation is always good.
