In this version the "Ruskenhoek" and the "Bult" were already destr... eh modified. However, it's a pity that they amputated the North Loop for a kind of theme park. And what did they do with the ground? Only the TT Hall has been built. All other plans for a hotel, casino and whatever are not realized.
None of them it will be a kart track for then becoming a 500 metres RC track, which eventually will be sold at 1000 euros. My godness me nowadays tradition doesn't worth a sh.t
Het bestuursboard van het TT circuit Assen is het meest incompetente stelletje boertjes ooit!!! Ze heben tegen Mugello gezegd, hier alsjeblieft, jullie mogen nu de titel cathedral of speed hebben. Haarbocht, Madijk en Ossenbroeken is het meest verschrikkelijke stuk tarmac ooit door menselijke hand aangelegd. Van het uniek motorcircuit naar ver beneden middelmatig circuit. Geef die mensen daar een pluim. Chapeau!!
@@AlonsoRules MotoGP still produces good races on it (I was at the 2018 TT, it was amazing) and the southern loop is still decent. But yeah, what they did to the North loop hurts the eyes.

Τα τετράχρονα, από τον πρώτο κιόλας χρόνο (2002), ήταν ΠΟΛΥ πιο γρήγορα από τα δίχρονα σε ΟΛΕΣ τις πίστες. Συνήθως, το πιο γρήγορο δίχρονο έμπαινε με το ζόρι στη δεκάδα. Καταρχάς, το Assen άλλαξε όταν ΗΔΗ είχαν εγκαταλειφθεί οριστικά και δια παντός τα δίχρονα. Μήπως πιστεύεις κιόλας ότι υπήρχε κάποιο σκοτεινό σχέδιο των illuminati για να αφανιστούν τα δίχρονα; :P Είναι αστείο να λέμε τέτοια πράγματα. Η παρελθοντολαγνεία έχει και τα όρια της. Τα δίχρονα θα μπορούσαν ενδεχομένως (αν είχαν ασχοληθεί τα εργοστάσια) να είχαν εξελιχθεί περαιτέρω και να κατάφερναν να ανταγωνιστούν ή και να περάσουν τα τετράχρονα, αλλά κάτι τέτοιο ήταν εντελώς ασύμφορο (από όποια πλευρά κι αν εξετάσεις το ζήτημα) για τα εργοστάσια. Οι λόγοι που επικράτησαν τα τετράχρονα είναι γνωστοί τοις πάσι και έχουν αναλυθεί εκτενέστατα πάμπολλες φορές τα τελευταία 17 χρόνια. Υ.Γ Είμαι λάτρης των δίχρονων.
When choosing the incentive of modernization,keeping up with track safety regulations and possibly more profit over nostalgia. Most people would unfortunately pick the first choice. It is simply a pure tenement of running a business plain and simple.
Jammer van al de veranderingen. Bedeldijk, Stroomdrift, Vennen, Madijk... Toch na 100 jaar is het circuit er nog steeds. Van alle circuits in 1949, is alleen Assen nog over waar op met motoren wordt gereden in het WK. Het is een hypermodern circuit. Vergeleken met dit is Zandvoort een geüpgrade club circuit.
The mutilation of Assen can't be forgiven. The northern loop was one of the spectacular & challenging parts of the track.
Assen today is crap and the worst part is that they still call it the "Cathedral"

most of the circuits were redesigned because there was no other way for the 4stroke engine to race beside the 2strokes
