I did these tonight man, and they were perfect. Thank you so much for this. You are of course getting a Like and Sub, I had my All Purpose Flour, so I just added 1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder and 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt to turn it into Self Rising essentially. *An Easy tip for anyone that has the same situation. Everything else I did just about the same exact way, and that dough is PERFECT. It felt like I was eating something I would have while walking around a State Fair. I did opt for the Newman-Os instead of Oreos. I just like them better. I don’t get that whirling feeling that the Deep Fried give me at all. I added some Powder Sugared on top, but I imagine the Chocolate Drizzle would be good too. Maybe just a nice Dark or Semi Sweet drizzle. I’ve seen loads of these type of videos and I am so glad I used your method. I can’t imagine the Pancake Batter version being even half this good. Anyone had both?

@@nocommentyo - Sure thing! You’re very welcome. I’m glad that has already helped someone out. I was looking at this video thinking, How many of us actually have Self Rising Flour? Then, How many of us want to buy it just to make one or two recipes? So, I asked my mom and she was taught how to make it by her mom, who was taught by her mom, and so on. I went online to verify it. What I did was mix together the flour mixture before I added the Yogurt. I used Chobani Plain Whole Milk Yogurt. I got my hands fairly wet as I did each individual Newman-O. I have a Cosori 5.8 Quart and the Basket is large and square-ish. I made myself a sheet of Parchment Paper that fit the basket, but I rolled the ends in a way that kind of created handles to easily put the whole thing in, and in case I needed to lift the entire thing out. It really did work perfectly and fit 5 of them very well. I used a fair amount of the dough for each and I was left with enough for maybe 3 more! I hope this Comment makes it a little easier as you’re making them!!!
@Glokas7 - Appreciate your comment regarding self-rising flour. I’ve seen so many recipes that require it but never had it. Glad to know I can still make the same recipe without it. Did you freeze your Oreos prior to making the fish? Did you use parchment paper in your air fryer? I’m hoping non-stick spray can be just as effective. I’ve never felt comfortable adding paper or foil to my air fryer.
Stumbled across this, after trying the crescent rolls recipe last night, I was left not satisfied with it so found this video.. sent hubby to store to get Greek yogurt! 😁
Mmm wonder if mars bars in same dough would work instead of deep frying them. Awaiting delivery of a air fryer at the moment. Great video as always Nicko. Great intro as well especially your nanna there as well 😊😊😊

Was there a reason why you want to freeze the Oreos; will this prevent them from getting dried out by the air fryer?

What is self-rising flour? Is it like normal flour with baking powder pre-mixed? Literally never heard of it.
