    I’m watching this video because I have a P0300 code , all the reading i been doing is saying I’m going to need a new engine, this video sure helps 😂😢

      Uh oh! As long as it’s not knocking you’re probably fine, just look at your data and see what cylinders are misfiring and go from there. If all of them are than check your fuel trims, stuff like that. Hope you figure it out!

      I had the same problem. In cylinder 3. It was my ecm. It went out at like 110k miles. Ridiculous. The part was was on backorder. Got a used one from the junk yard for like $100 had it programmed for $220 and problem solved. I believe my code was p0303. I'd give that a look before I took the motor out. I'm watching this because I have to replace the rod bearings.

      Turns out the engine I bought to replace mine is a jdm. What do I need to switch over from my old engine for this to work?

    • @MrTurboOfficial
      @MrTurboOfficial  Před měsícem

      I’m honestly not sure, haven’t done a JDM swap on one. I would search NASIOC and see if anyone has done a write up.

    any tips on how to replace the crankshaft sensor in the back? I tried and failed to remove it due to the cables blocking the sensor.

    • @MrTurboOfficial
      @MrTurboOfficial  Před 4 měsíci +1

      @MrEklipze I honestly have not had to replace one yet. I’ve taken them off of course when doing rebuilds but never in the car. You could possibly try removing the intake manifold to give yourself more room. Sorry I couldn’t help more. Hope you get it out!

    I’m watching this to replace my clutch cause it’s starting to sleep, any suggestions on what all I should replace (doing it myself cause funds are tight)

    • @MrTurboOfficial
      @MrTurboOfficial  Před 2 měsíci

      Full clutch kit of course, I recommend ACT. You will need to either get your flywheel resurfaced or replaced. ACT has a clutch kit that comes with a flywheel as well. A lot of these cars end up needing the transmission snout repair sleeve because it gets tore up. When you pull your throw out bearing off, check the snout and see if it’s worn. If it’s bad get the repair kit. The clutch forks like to crack down the middle, I recommend the upgraded ones along with a billet pivot.
      I’ll try to do a video soon on all of this to better explain it. Best of luck to you and hope it all goes well!
