Also the contract he is under has no guaranteed money . If he gets hurts, they can just drop him. Why trade for someone you know wants a new contract. But why would Reddick play for one year and then move on. Basically you are trying to rent him, and if Rodgers and the new pieces dont win he will have to start over. So the Jets are not willing to commit to him nor are they willing to pay him then trade him. This is pride on Joe Douglas part, he thought he could bully him into playing and boy was he wrong.
