Range has been estimated to be five octaves plus four notes. It just depends upon time of day, how much rest Morrisette has had, and external conditions, just like any vocal artist. Her aim is to sing professionally for another 40 years. So at 26 she is limiting her whistles, mostly to adlibs and backing tracts on her newer originals. Plus she doesn’t want to be known for her her whistle notes. Recently she has said she most admires and aspires to pattern her vocals after mature musical theater artists like Cynthia Erivo and Shoshana Bean, and her career after Beyoncé. My guess is that it will be unique, but you have to reach for something you can see.
Her most unique quality is her underlying rich vocal tone and her sincere personality. I think her current focus serves to protect both for the future, even though it may not lead to expanded popularity worldwide, but she now directly controls her career, her production, and team. Mature recording artists have learned it’s not what you produce (volumes and money), it’s what you keep and control.
Morissette released an EP during the heights of Covid. I only point that out because thats what great artists do...'make art'....no matter what! All the songs were done in 3 formats (not including Wish Bus). I would recommend the live versions (with band). Morissette always finds another gear when there is a live band behind her. Thank you for supporting this generational artist!!!
Id recommend rhe radio version easier to hear lyrics unless you read lyrics beforehand

About last year she released an all original EP with 5 songs which she go wrote and co produced with her singer/songwriter husband. I suggest you start with her Live performance of Love You Still with a live band. Then follow it up with Will You Stay, Trophy, Mirror, and Phoenix. In that order with a live band as well.

I already experienced riding that kind of bus during the 90's from Bicol to Manila, Philippines (JB Line Bicol Express). It is M.A.N. bus from Germany with Air bag suspension and automatic transmission which is very comfortable and have a very silent engine.

You are right.....she is the most down to earth girl you could meet, humble and accommodating. She is a big hugger as well. She watches reaction videos as well as Dave Lamar ( her hubby) and will do interviews with reactors. Signature is a EP with 5 songs all co-written with her hubby and all have personal meaning , LOVE YOU STILL , a digital letter to her estranged father who hasn't spoke with her in 3 years , PHOENIX, a inspirational song reminding us never give up , MIRROR , deals with the depression not feeling good about how others see you , LOVE YOU STILL , entering a new serious relationship and TROPHY , conveys you aren't with someone, to boost their egos in from of others. There are music videos for LYS and Phoenix , but the LIVE versions with her in long braid are the best. Dave and a small team shot the Love You Still music video......and is amazing.
