There will always be a constant power struggle between Players and Admins
on mrp at least lol
if it were lrp the admin's bwoink would just consist of "That was very based and not sus of you to dunk on those antags"
@@replica3061 the one time I got bwoink'd on lrp was for macho-man to come and take my appendix
your complete deadpan delivery makes this a hundred times funnier to listen to
thems hrp rules
i mean how to confuse the greytiders is what some can do and by the looks of it, thats fulp station where they used to be fun and now its total no fun allowed.
the server was subverted.
remember good times when tiding into tech storage was daily routine for assistants
Fulps notorious for being very bipolar in how it handles things.
fulp used to be lrp bordering on nrp during ssethtide. Many legends were born in that time. Asher clark stands out above the rest. A very powerful shaft miner in his ss13 prime had thousands of brand new spacemen to feast upon. No cult or revolution went unrobusted in those days. Singuloose, plasma flood, or maxcaps were present every 2 out of 3 rounds. Minor viruses became major pandemic. Those were the glory days of fulp, the truest iteration of the game.
@@BunnyHoppin- Dont forget lowpop hours during those times and people like Xeon building bloody Tesla Engines consisting of 20 seperate teslas juiced to the max that would literally crash the server.
The admin was probably one of the cults and was mad because you killed him
kek
More likely the cultist was assmad about getting his plans foiled and bitched to admin
They always is.
I've played a lot on fulp and if you are gonna get bwoinked or not for random stuff is always dependant on if some shitmin is on or not. Since the rules are differently enforced by every one of em.
It's like that on paradise too
Reminds me of my only round on bee station that looked something like no rules day on goon. That is until the admemes log in and I get bwoinked for defending science against the ruthless tide
I play on terry now a day for a reason
virgin cult vs chad atmos plasmafire maker
ive always hated rules like that. its pretty dumb "oh these OBVIOUSLY hostile people are doing OBVIOUSLY hostile things, only security can deal with them, you just pretend they dont exist"
the funny thing is: those are HRP rules. not MRP, mrp does not require people to ignore blatantly hostile people, at best your suppose to not go all gamer on them and chase them around with a gun you looted from armory or something. but if you see a cultist stun someone, you can attack them as its considered self defence
Yeah I didn't bother checking the server compendium on what the rules of engagement were before I dove in, my brain is wired to think cult = big bad. More likely to ignore normal traitors even on LRP.
I mean, yes, maybe technically what I did was "firebomb" civilians which "some" people might call a "war crime" but they were cultists.
@@DirkMcBlade I purposely avoid servers with rules like that, if people are being obvious traitors they deserved to be punished. Same applies to shitsec, if they ain't doing their job why shouldn't you solve it for them?
Also who puts HRP rules on MRP server, name and shame them.
@@LordJoey999 It's fulpstation, I put the servers in my descriptions but sometimes you have to expand them to see. I don't know the logic entirely but I think since fulpstation is "newbie friendly" they could be trying to make antags easy to play for the new players who don't know what they're doing. At any rate I'm not going to be very upset over a note.
from fulp's rules:
1). Fulpstation is a Medium Roleplay server. We define this as performing your assigned duties. This is a ‘do your job’ server. This means it is important to do what is expected out of your department and not what would be expected out of other departments.
"I forgot all previous lives" lmao
I got banned for 2 hours after I killed a Ling and cremated him right after without waiting for the one sec officer that was online
Admins deserve the wall
Is a plasmeme the pinnacle of atmospheric techinicians? Plasmaflooding does just change the station's conditions to fit a plasmeme's, so, in a way it's just terraforming when the whole station is lit ablaze.
I think they are the top ATs, but I like having the AI on my side so I usually just play humans. Plasmemes are really fragile so anyone who plays them a lot is probably pretty good because they didn't quit.
plasmemes get more burn damage from everything so no
@@pepperoniboy57 ok, but plasma doesn't hurt you
ima say it now, it was horatio who bwoinked you
I get bwoinked occasionally playing borgs for similar reasons.
I.E. On Paradise, as a borg I saw a dude getting kidnapped and attacked/killed in maintenance by a guy who had no ID (security overlay). Law 1 was prevent harm to crew or through inaction allow harm to happen. So I defended the dude getting attacked and dragged him away. Bwoink.
basically how that went:
Admin; "You must treat all persons on station as crew, it was fine to drag him away but not attack that guy. That violates your laws". (not abbreviated, they literally said this).
Me; "So I have to treat traitors, nukies, changlings, etc. as crew even if they have no ID showing them as crew?"
Admin; " Yes, unless they have an armblade then go ham."
Great so according to admins interpretation of how I should play is that all wizards, traitors, nukies, cultists, basically any humanoid shaped antag can use borgs however they wish and i HAVE to treat them as crew so long as they don't have an 'armblade'.
Here is how that will workout:
Admin: "Borg! why did you let that grey shirt into captains room?"
Me: "Because he asked me to, Law 2."
Admin: "That violates your laws, ban."
I love playing borg, but with how strict people are with every little action/inaction i do it often ruins it for me. Somehow being a borg and doing anything useful is a much bigger issue than anything shitsec does every round.
you'd think them not wearing an ID would make it so logicly "I can't tell who they are and with no ID I don't even know if they're crew so until they put on their id or take off their mask" but instead they opted for anyone aboard the station is crew making so even if a nukie attacked you'd get bonked for attacking them unless your laws were changed.
Some servers have admin ruling precedents, which seems needed just so admins don't make arbitrary and contradictory decisions from one day to the next. I'd be curious if Paradise has this rule regarding borgs documented.
Okay whats wrong with that ? The lawset is pretty obvious and you cant act how you like.
Lets say theres an ai programmed to kill rats. If fucking rattatoille comes in your house and starts cooking, the ai will still deck that small mf and it wont go "oh he is a good rat i wont kill this one".
Changeling armblade proves that they are not crew or human and thats why you are allowed.
@@exymian1342 1. Sure, no issues. Clear as day. Okay. Let's go with that.
Antags: "Borg! Turn off these cameras!", "Borg! Let me into the vault!", "Borg! Bring me x person! Drag them if you have to!", "Borg! Build me x!", "Borg! I order you to not talk!", "Borg! Bring me a gun from sec!". OBVIOUSLY this is all within standard borg laws and you absolutely as an emotionless, uncreative, but intelligent (It says it in the wiki) creation will see no issues with such things.
I am sure any admin or random player would totally understand and agree with that.
2. Well changing AI laws completely throws any argument out of the window for obvious reasons don't you think? So ignoring that and looking at the last part.
3. Could be a wizard, could be a crew mate dressed up as a wizard, one of them is going around shooting fireballs but hey, no ID so who knows? Revolutionaries are going around brainwashing the crew, but they are still crew and it's not like I can prove whatever they are doing is brainwashing. Guess I have to listen to all their commands still. Man these guys in red look like trouble but they have no ID so i guess they are alright, must be new Security suits. This engineer is making bombs in toxins, but hey making bombs doesn't harm the crew or station, just using them does so it is fine.
@@roguedragoon9443 You can put the argument "if i do law 2, that breaks law 1" and you can deny the request. Laws have a priority of followage and if 2 contradicts with 1, you are supposed to not follow 2. Same goes with changing your laws. If chsnging your laws causes harm, you can resist the change or in otherwords deny law 2
bwoink

Nice video man, gotta love the cool editing.
I hope to see more of your content :)
you dont need to remove the nitrogen when making a plasma room, it would have made it safer actually
Extremely common Fulpstation L
Plasma man, plasma man, does whatever plasma can.
That's a bit harsh. There is very little difference between a cult base with cult floors and walls and constructs going about and a halo stage cultist, in how obvious they are.
If they don't want to fight in the open - don't make pylons and use conceal spell.
If the reason for the warning was not validhunting but the indiscriminate manner of attack, that I can understand. "Restrict methods of mass indiscriminate murder for Delta situations" or something.
For the sake of order and keeping a stable server I can also agree if it was due to the manner of attack, but for the sake of pragmatism, let me ask you one question;
"What is a hostage situation if you kill the hostage?" A situation the bad guy didn't predict, and a situation where you win even if by the power of extremist violence.
@@sato-kuu that's not killing the hostage. That's killing everyone who had the misfortune of being in the vicinity.
@@MrRavellon Oh yes I know, I was just making a comparison. "You can't commit a warcrime if theres nobody left to enforce the Geneva convention" is a more appropriate line for this situation to be fair, but yknow, the point stands.
cringemin. that is why I play LRP
I swear, every time I hear bwoink, I get scared shitless.
admins when someone does exactly what a normal person would do (its mrp so they are validhunting)
This channel is fucking excellent
I love your style?

Plasmeme moment
This video isn't listed in my Subscriptions tab. Why is that? I'm subbed.
Same it's annoying
Did you hit the bell (to be notified of all updates from the channel)? I'm seeing a few subscribers saying my videos aren't showing up and I'm wondering if a) the algorithm is hiding me from some people even though they subscribed because they didn't click on the bell, or b) people still don't see my videos even after they flagged that they want to see all updates from my channel. B) would be more troubling.
@@DirkMcBlade I didn't hit the bell, but haven't clicked it on any other channel either, so it should be fair game. I think.
I never understood the valid hunting term
Like, arent all the loyal NT employees suppose to help against the antags?
That's mostly an MRP thing, like you're not supposed to know what a blood cult is or something. Really it's just a cope to keep the round from ending soon when the antags unrobust. In LRP the rule is if you use plasma you better cripple the antags, otherwise you're doing more harm than good.
Fulp?
walks in on cult room its just graffiti
fulp isn't mrp there's a reason that server went to shit and the admins play elsewhere.
