As someone old enough to have been an actual eye witness at the gig... I can safely say that it’s still one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. By anyone.
AC/DC always had a particular connection with Glasgow, and the Apollo was our best venue. Sadly long gone.
They seriously cranked it up when playing here.

The whole concert was filmed and recorded. You can hear it on "If you want blood you got it" and this track didn't even make it to the album, thats how good the rest are!

Bons voice live was legendary.
He was one of those rare cases where he sounded better live than he did on the album, and his voice on the album's still sounded insane.
He couldn't hit the high notes live, but overall his voice sounded far better live

The atmosphere at the Apollo always seemed off the chart. All the live recordings that I've heard, nothing compares to the Apollo audiences.

Brian Johnson was excellent and was able to maintain the rise to fame that they saw after Bons death. However it was Bon that gave them their sound and did the leg work. Plus he's my fave and a fucking legend! IMHO.

Its such a groovy little thing, the way everything goes so perfectly togehter,Phil`s drumming, Cliff`s bassing and ofc the driving force, Malcolm! Put Bon on top of this and Voilâ! The Perfect rock`n`roll band!! A drink for them all!!

Great song Dog Eat Dog, AC/DC was one of my favorite bands growing up! Nobody was like Bon Scott. I've said it before and I will say it again "If you got to grow up anywhere in the 50's through the 80's with that classic music YOU were blessed!"

Bon Scott( RIP) First saw Brian Johnson perform with GEORDIE and Johnson had an Appendicitis attack on Stage. Johnson howled and screamed, but continued singing on the ground Thrashing around in Agony. Bon Scott Loved his Singing and what he thought was part of his stage show. Awesome stuff.

A fitting name. If there was a way to harness all the energy put out by the millions and millions of fans jumping, head banging,,, to this band, WOW, you could power the world for thousands of years. I suppose I have sweated a few lakes, worn out a dozen shoes and road out more chemicals in my bloodstream,,,,, This music used to power me through the hardest work, the longest nights, the days of work following all night parties,,,,, I really owe them a big thank you for all of that. Rock on.
Out of all of Angus' solo's this will always be my fave. It captures that sound/moment that everyone identifies with AC/DC and the Bon Scott era, overall. Killer music. Fucking lyrical brilliance, as well.
