**Extra Info: I feel like I should have also mentioned something about the Black Numenoreans who lived in Umbar and were enemies of Gondor in the Third Age. They were the descendants of the King's Men colonists who were living in Middle-earth and so survived the destruction of Numenor. Some of the Nazgul were Black Numenorean Lords and Kings who were corrupted by Sauron.**
Your pronunciation of these names I'm sure warms the Tolkiens souls. Long time fan. Imo one of your best works to date.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell you that untill Sauron came, Numenor did nothing wrong.
But they did. They wanted immortality within the world that was never theirs. They were made mortal and the valar granted them with long age and health for their forefathers heroism and still they wanted more.

So of course they're still exposed of the dark side within.
Well they did do imperialism before Sauron but aside from that yeah Tolkein just really wanted to tell a Catholic version of Atlantis.
