I think the Taskbar in Tab P12 Pro is like half-baked as compared to Samsung's. The Taskbar takes up a huge portion of the screen.

The taskbar seemed rushed, and half-baked. I hope they fix that in a future update.
Hmm IDK if I like that or not. Maybe one day Nokia will come through with their awaited update for the T20 that task bar may be quite intrusive on a 10 inch tab.

I have to change to using gesture because of that stupid taskbar. People have been reporting this on the Lenovo forum for a few months and still no update
It just much better today installed Andriod 13 final build.

Is the top bezel on the P12 Pro wider than the bottom (when in landscape)? It always appears that way in videos; if it is, I assume it's due to the front-facing camera.

1:53 has a quick flash where he says "As you can see, it's pretty easy to do split screen here." This quick moment shows it really well when he's dragging an app to the right (blue) side with YT (white) on the left... you can see how in that brief moment a lighter gray border shows around the apps and lets you clearly see exactly how big the borders are. ☺ (You may need to start a couple of secs early and play in half speed depending on what you're viewing on.)

Does the p12 pro have the aptx, aptx hd codecs for BT audio? Does anyone know for sure?? Very important for me, as this is my make it-or break it for buying the tablet. Thanks!

I have 2 p12's. One with 6 gb and one with 8 gb. Neither of them got this L update. I check got updates several times a day, but it's not happening. Is this pushed through with OTA updates? I'm not getting it.

yes you can go new window in chrome using the 3 little dots in the corner and then do split screen with two chrome windows

Mi pad already has this dock and much better integrated. But it needs some bug fixes and android 12.

How to enable that? And is ther a desktop and mobile mode if yes how to change that?
To enable navigation button:
Go to settings > Accessibility > System control > System navigation
And then select 3-button navigation.
For Desktop mode called Productive mode- on the notification panel tap on Productivity mode.
Similarly you can turn it off from task bar on the right side (while in productive mode).
* If you lost with options/mode, just open setting and search, weather it is productivity mode or navigation. You will get the options as result.

I absolutely hate the taskbar and I hate how it keeps popping up unwanted and holding down to remove it barely even works and in the settings to turn it off it's greyed out so I can't even turn it off. On my Galaxy tab S7 Plus. L

I think you can do split screen plus floating window but in productivity mode you can do more
I just use it for the media and Kindle. Absolutely hate the pen. Its pointless (literally). You can use it to mark stuff at max. Just pitch in more and get Samsung if you want a stylus
