Synopsis:

because the script in all Chinese dramas is the same. a rich guy with social problems who falls in love against the will of his family and loved ones with a woman of lower social status and a family that does everything to destroy this relationship because according to this family, only the daughter of a wealthy business partner is fit to be a wife. no one pays attention to feelings only how to multiply the capital of the company. although the main character doesn't feel anything for the woman chosen by the family, she does everything to destroy his current relationship. then they all reconcile and live happily ever after and what they did before doesn't matter. suddenly they are all friends :) :)
that is because the Aunt only cares about money. The way she keeps on going on about him concentrating on the business . A marriage between the two rich families will mean it is a merger and as the male becomes the heir, more money for her as a shareholder.. Dr Qin doesn't have any money to bring to the table. I don't think that the Auntie cares about Lin as a person, just Lin as a meal ticket
