    man, some of your demos just give me a nostalgic Marty O'Donnell sound vibe and I love it

    This library is PERFECT for making Orchestral Horror Mock-Ups.

    I love libraries like these. Love that there is dynamic control over the effects patches

    A triumphant return!
    And with it, another lovely library that caters to specialized techniques that are often overlooked in general string libraries. I think composers should get this if they want to take their string parts to the next level.

      @@CoryPelizzari It fills the same gap as this one, I think. Has tremendous sounding articulations like beautiful flautando’s too. For pads, I only use Sunset ever since I bought it. Realitone (by which I mean Mike) also is just such a down to earth kind of guy.

  • @Nicdehouwer
    @Nicdehouwer Před 3 lety +2

    Sunset Strings by Realitone does this concept too. I have that one already, and am very, very happy with it so there’s no need for this.

    After a really long break from sample library spotlights, I thought you were saving money for your new computer so you and a certain computer builder you know can make it. Since it's the middle of 2021, are you planning to introduce it?

    Hi!! Thanks for your response! What happened was that On May 31st I asked for an exception of the Spitfire Sale. They gave it to me and I have a week to buy Albion Neo 65% off but I need to be careful with the purchase. I like this Threnody Strings. Question: In your opinion, does this product has more to offer than Albion Neo? Please let me know 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

    • @CoryPelizzari
      @CoryPelizzari  Před 3 lety

      More to offer in terms of a variety of string applications, but no legato and no other instruments. It's kind of niche but it's a workhorse.

  • @franciscoguardado6624

    Hi! Please I have a question. First off I like how you are straightforward on judging products. Question: Is it worth it getting Albion Neo? I think on getting it because of its soft/ambient-like/peaceful sounds just like the product on this video. I’m scared on what if I buy it and realized the sounds I heard from the spitfire demo is part of just a selected few files. I got Albion 1 in January for the same reason and had that problem. please let me know

    • @CoryPelizzari
      @CoryPelizzari  Před 3 lety

      Albion Neo is definitely one of the better Albions, but if you had some problems with Albion One then perhaps that route isn't quite for you. I think the strings are strong in Neo but the brass and woodwinds are not as strong, plus the legato isn't quite as good as a lot of other libraries.

    Nice review. How do you like Studio One? I’m using Logic and find composing midi with many tracks very comber some.

    • @CoryPelizzari
      @CoryPelizzari  Před 3 lety +2

      I like Studio One because it's very logically laid out and made for composing. That being said, DAWs are wildly different so it's usually a case of stick with what you know, so I stick with Studio One.

    • @kennethjackson4858
      @kennethjackson4858 Před 2 lety

      Cory, I’m using and learning Logic and would hate to just go for another daw because others are not looking it and say one is better than the other daw. Logic is used a lot, maybe not as great as Studio One.
