Helloween are not only the best band, they are also brilliant philosophers!
THE ONLY CRITIQUE you can give thsi interview is the fact that andi smokes. His voice and lungs are a treasures that should be preserved better.
I always think about that.
On the bright side, King Diamond smoked for decades. . . . until he have a triple heart-attack. . . but now he's smoke-free and says he's never sung so high, so easy.

I used to fall asleep to "Keeper of the Seven Keys" (part 2). I loved that album so much, but when I bought "Master of Rings" I was totally blown away
Henjo29 I don't get how you can fall asleep to that. Maybe during we got the right in the beginning but other than that I can't see it. Lol

***** My father is good friends with Weikath, and he told me that he has really cut down on the smokes. He quite smoking on-stage (almost) and is down to 5-7 a day now, and he is aiming at being completely smoke-free :)

I thought Deris's voice was raspier. I saw Helloween in concert last year and even while speaking he has that harsh tone and very little accent. What happened?
He's been smoking (quite heavily it seems) for 25+ years, it's a wonder that he's still able to sing at all. Hell, his voice is better than Kiske's, who never smoked. While he's good for his age he's nowhere near as good as he was at his peak
