    Two months ago we went to visit Chattanooga from Connecticut, we in love this town. Now we are looking for a three bed rooms ranch or the farmland close to the city. The state we live now is too expensive! Thank you for your video.

      I am so glad that you enjoyed Chattanooga. It is a special overlooked area. We are 2 hours north of Atlanta,We are 2 and a half to Nashville. We are the crossroads. We are steep in history,natural beauty and alot to do.

    Great videos. Would love to see something around downtown. Maybe condos or townhomes close to the river. Might be my retirement town. We visited in March and loved the area.

    Ooltewah is way too crowded wouldn't recommend it anymore 20 years ago it was nice now its a disaster after volkswagen and Amazon were built prices are horrible

    What areas do you recommend for single-income earners that have homes for under 200k? I love all these areas you talked about and am considering a move to TN but can't afford the home prices in these areas on a single income. Are there areas with 2-3 bedrooms under 200k that are safe from the crime rates? I like the location in the state being in between Nashville/Atlanta for going in city for live music shows, but want to not live in a big city anymore. Plus it's close enough to visit family in Knoxville regularly.

    Great video! Is St. Elmo considered part of Lookout Mountain? If not, how would you rate that area?

      No, it is nestled at the foot of Lookout Mountain. St.Elmo is beautiful and has many historical homes.

      Like Laura mentioned it is not part of Lookout Mountain, St Elmo has historical homes and vibe and is a nice little area just outside of downtown.

      St.Elmo is Chattanooga first and Oldest suburb it in the Chattanooga city limits ,you can go to Lookout Mtn,TN which Lookout Mtn,Tn is a city own Jurisdiction still in Hamilton county

    Great video! So, these suburbs are not actually part of the city of Chattanooga? If they're not, can you please make a video on neighborhoods in Chatanooga itself?
    Eta: I just watched a few "hoods of Chattanooga" videos that show the other side of the city. High crime is an issue and some places are reportedly dangerous at night. I see people referring to the city as shootanooga. Please discuss this in a video. I know I'm not your only viewer who wants to know about that.

      Hey, some of the suburbs are within Chattanooga city limits and some are just outskirt cities that are inside Hamilton County. As far as crime goes, if you search Chattanooga Crime rate it's above the national average which I touch on in many videos. Hope that helps.

      I've lived here 20 years. I moved here from Fort Worth, TX in 2001. I thought crime was just part of everyday life until I moved here. Is there crime? Of course there is, but depending on where you live you'll probably never experience very much of it.

    I am super close in working for the Vw assembly plant there man. I have a phone interview tomorrow so, this may actually happen, I have been lookin at Arizona but Chattanooga may be the move. It’s the only job lead I have unfortunately but, I’m just afraid Chattanooga is gonna be too expensive for me

      @@Jvilleman400 For rentals just look online, zillow, craigslist, facebook marketplace and see if you can find something. You can always start off renting a room in a house that already has a garage or car port that you can use as well.

    What are the main differences between Soddy daisy and the whitwell area? Interested to know how the local culture varies between the two as well.

      Soddy-Daisy is more readily accessible from Chattanooga vis U. S. Hwy 27 which is actually a freeway. Whitwell is in the Sequatchie Valley and further away. Traffic on I-24 to and from Chattanooga can be a problem during rush hour and on holiday weekends.

      Soddy-daisy is suburb of Chattanooga still in the same Hamilton county, and Whitwell is In Marion county another suburb but it in Marion county border Hamilton county about
      25 min I-24 West

    I will be moving to work at CHI memorial hospital chattanooga , which area will you recommend for me to stay considering safety and proximity to the hospital?

      I would not recommend East Chattanooga near the hospital it is a higher crime area than some of the other neighborhoods. Harrison, Ooltewah, Redbank, and Hixson are good areas. CHI has a campus in Hixson. The main hospital is in East Chattanooga. CHI is a wonderful place to work.

    I’m planning to move here. But keep my job in California. My whole family will live out there while I work in California my job provides hotel etc. can I get a mortgage loan or no? Do I have to start alll over again on a new job?

We have a good amount of options, just to name a few if your looking for a healthy vegan/plant-based option I would suggest Southern Squeeze but if you're looking more for Vegan comfort food I would suggest Cashews. There are plenty of other options but those are just two to name a few. Hope that helps.
