For water bottles - We have a silicone collapsible water that fits in my fanny pack (much more important at Universal) and our goal was always to fill it before getting in medium/long lines and finish it between us by boarding. Great way to gamify your hydration and avoid being half an hour into a line and be dying of thirst.
Just a quick note on monorail car 12: that only works with the Express Monorail. If you happen to arrive before the Express Monorail is running for the day (i.e. rope drop), the Resort Monorail goes to the Park in the opposite direction. 👍
Very glad you mentioned holding stuff out for security - it took 4 or 5 attempts for me to work out why I kept getting stopped before I realised it was my portable charger!
I also like when you choose a mobile order pick up window, if you get there a bit earlier, you can change your time to "now" so you can get your food earlier. Love the video Fry
Good advice! The one I cannot get on board with is the refillable water bottle at MK. We did not like the taste of the water at that park, even with a flavor enhancer we brought. We order cases of water to our hotel and try to carry in 1-2 per person in our park bags, then just buy more water bottles in the park when needed. You certainly don’t need to, but that is our preference.

@@otapprovedactivities1675 Well, I personally find Mine Train more fun than Peter Pan's flight...PLUS rope-dropping the Mine Train saves me money, as I won't have to pay for the ILL to beat the line. But since PPF is part of the standard Genie+ list, it's less of a $$ issue.
i walk twice a week (in the spring and summer) sometimes more, and that part (the walking) wasn´t the hard part, I even broke my shoes in 2 weeks before, and still got blisters!
If you're a resort guest with early park access, is there also an early "Let the Magic Begin" show, or do you have to come back to the castle when the park opens for everyone else?
Tip go to lost and found and say you left your refil Disney coke bottle in the park the day b4 and they usually have tons and tons there in lost and found .. this way you get one for free and you can fill it up throughout the day for free :)

Agreed, great advice. For us it was our sunglass cases setting it off. After we were told to hold them out it was such a game changer.
When going through security, I hold out charging bank, umbrella, and eye glass case.
On Tron you can also ask to sit in the traditional seat (I have no idea what it is actually called) but might have to wait a bit longer.

We definitely found that getting the free water cups to fill our bottles was WAY better than any of the fountains.
