In this video, Sh. Dr. Yasir Qadhi covers the important topic of groups that reject the sciences of hadith and only claim to follow the Quran. Dr. Qadhi discusses 3 principles which helps to counter such groups:
    i) Qur'an is the speech of Allah, meant for eternal guidance and all of mankind. Anyone who refutes core principles and understandings of Qur'an should be avoided.
ii) Allah has sent the most praiseworthy and best role model in Prophet Muhammad (s) to be our prophet. There are over 100 verses in Quran asking mankind to follow him, so rejecting his sunnah is not an option.
iii) We should stick to mainstream interpretations and groups of Islam, and not new cults and fringe groups. Both Quran and sunnah support this.

He most certainly is. This 'Quranist' fitna literally started 200 years ago. Mulims were misguided for 1200 years ? Mohammad (A.S) foretold the coming of this fitna.
“Soon there will come a time that a man will be reclining on his pillow, and when one of my hadiths is narrated he will say: ‘The Book of Allah is (sufficient) between us and you. Whatever it states is permissible, we will take as permissible, and whatever it states is forbidden, we will take as forbidden.’ Verily, whatever the Messenger of Allah has forbidden is like that which Allah has forbidden.”(Reported by Ahmad, Abu Daawood, Ibn Maajah and at-Tirmidhee, who declared it hasan. Al-Albaanee declared it saheeh in Saheehul-Jaami’ (no.8186)

A point of reflection. “And those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down upon Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He will remove from them their misdeeds and amend their condition.” Surah Muhammad verse 2.
These ayah sums up everything we are supposed to follow the man why did Allah use “Muhammad” rather than messenger/prophet for those endowed with wisdom it’s clear.
He was a Messenger, leader, law giver, father, spouse etc. We are supposed to follow his example/methodology (his Sunnah)

I don't find it an issue following hadiths if I knew for sure they are true and if the prophet was alive I would gladly follow him. But hadiths contradict each other and sometimes Quran. How can I believe this then if I don't find hadith true 😑 alot of things can happen that could make what hadiths we have not true. I don't disagree with the concept of hadith.
But I don't know how much of the hadith is what our prophet actually said and is not made up

My beloved brother, authentic hadith cannot contradict the Quran just like the Prophet cannot contradict the Quran. Impossible. Because authentic hadith and Quran are both revelation coming from Allah. Allah says in the Quran "Whatever the Prophet came with, then take it and Whatever the Prophet prohibits u from, then stay away from it" (59:7). For u to say that an authentic hadith contradicts the Quran is like u saying Allah contradicts himself. Rather when u see a contradiction between an authentic hadith and the Quran, there is 2 possible reasons. 1. The hadith is not authentic to begin with, and/or 2. You misunderstood the hadith. Q: So how do I know if the hadith is authentic from the Prophet and how do I know that I have correctly understand the hadith? A: Allah says, "Ask the people of knowledge (scholars of Islam) if u do not know" (16:35). May Allah ease your affairs and help u better understand this religion

If Hadith are so pious and holy try making sense of following... please don’t stop at nothing. Try all mental gymnastics. Here:
      NASA’I HADITH: Book 37, Hadith 62:
      Narrated Anas:
“A group of men from ‘Ukl, or ‘Uraynah, came to the Prophet [SAW], and when the climate of Al-Madinah did not suit them, he told them to go to some camels and drink their milk and urine. Then they killed the herdsman and stole the camels. He sent (men) after them, and had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes gouged out.”
SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH: Book 67, Hadith 69:
      Narrated Aisha:
that the Prophet (ﷺ) married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years (i.e., till his death).
SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH: Book 67, Hadith 132:
      Narrated `Imran:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I looked at Paradise and saw that the majority of its residents were the poor; and I looked at the (Hell) Fire and saw that the majority of its residents were women.”
BUKHARI HADITH: Volume 7, Book 62, Number 52:
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah and Salama bin Al-Akwa:
While we were in an army, Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) came to us and said, “You have been allowed to do the Mut’a (marriage), so do it.”
      BUKHARI HADITH 5068 Book 67, Hadith 6
      Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night, and he had nine wives.
SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH: Book 59, Number 104:
      Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, “If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.”
SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH: Book 67, Number 31:
      Narrated Abdullah binUmar:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Evil omen is in the women, the house and the horse.'
I can go on and on but I think this should be enough for any sane mind.

So he fulfilled the first covenant (brought it to completion by taking upon himself all the wrath from the first covenant as a result of Israel breaking it (Deut. 31)), and established the new covenant which came with the perfect Law. He closed all the loopholes that existed in the previous, imperfect Law. He raised the moral standard to perfection. Or haven't you read his sermon on the mount?
What does it mean that Jesus "fulfilled" the Law? (1) In regards to the moral law, it means he raised the standard to perfection. He closed the loopholes. What you could get away with in the past, you can no longer get away with. The demand for righteousness is even higher, to that of perfection. (2) In regards to the sacrificial law, he fulfilled it by becoming the ultimate sacrifice for sins, so we are to no longer offer animal sacrifices, as those were part of the first covenant which was broken and so God does not accept those sacrifices anymore. If you think we should still follow the old Law, then you're saying we, even gentiles who are not Jews, should be offering animal sacrifices and ONLY in the Temple. But to adhere to such an idea is ludicrous. For one, it would be a denial of Jesus' perfect and ultimate sacrifice. And second, the Mosaic law wasn't given to all the nations. It was only given to Israel for Israel to abide by, and they would only offer sacrifices at the Temple for their sins. You're saying Christians around the world are supposed to still go to a non-existent Temple in Jerusalem and offer sacrifices every year? The reason the Temple is not there anymore is because God poured out his wrath on the Temple for the nation having broken covenant with him. So it would be foolish to continue to offer sacrifices for sins when God is no longer accepting those sacrifices and there is no Temple to offer sacrifices anyway. And just so you know, about half of the Mosaic Law has to do with sacrifices.
This is the clear narrative of Scripture:
      (1) God made a covenant with Israel
      (2) Israel broke the covenant and incurred God's wrath
      (3) The Prophets prophesied that a new covenant would be made in the future
      (4) Jesus the Messiah exhausted the wrath from the first covenant and established the new covenant that was prophesied. In so doing, he did not 'destroy' the Law or the Prophets, but 'fulfilled' them.
Given this narrative in Scripture, it makes no sense to think that we are to be under two covenants at the same time, both the broken one and the eternal one. We are under the eternal one that can never be broken.
So yes, Christians believe in both the Old and New Testaments, but we are not under the old covenant which was given only to Israel and was imperfect and was broken by Israel; we are under the new, perfect covenant that can never be broken and is for all nations, not just Israel. Please, my Muslim friends, stop assuming you know anything of what you're talking about when it comes to the Bible. All you do is take individual verses out of context because you don't know the narrative of Scripture. And I explained all of this without any reference to Paul's writings. So please, enough of the false assumptions. I hope all of this makes sense to you and you can begin to understand the Bible outside of the lens of Islam which you so naturally project onto the Bible. May God bless you and guide you, in Jesus' name.

This guy is a Hadither meaning he believes in Hadiths besides the Quran. Anyone who believes in Hadiths is a polytheist who has associated a partner with God, Almighty. Hadiths are from Satan written down 200 years after Muhammad to make a mockery of the Quran. Hadithers also ascribe a partnership with God by putting Muhammad's name next to God's name in their so called Shahada which is non Quranic and Shirk. Hadithers also worship a stone idol (black stone) in the town of Makkah claiming that they are going to Masjid ul haram while the original Masjid ul haram was in Bakka (now called Petra) which had been destroyed ages ago. Look up Sam Gerrans for a correct translation of the Quran.

@@crazymalak100 no translation is 100% but this one is better than others. It uses Qur'anic verses to explain other Quranic verses.

Do you know how we got the Qur’an? Rasul صلى الله عليه وسلم didn’t know to read and write. ALLAH promised to preserve the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

Yeah, I know some Muslims who don’t believe the Quran is for all humanity. I don’t believe the Quran is the word of God either.

Yasir Qadhi's mind "DOES NOT GRASP" (to use his words 7:00-8:00) metaphor and symbolism. Allegory is not a bad thing, unless you're Yasir Qadhi.

This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about when he talks about Christianity. He’s a scholar of Islam, not all religions. A century and half after Jesus?? No. The gospels were written mere decades after Jesus. And we don’t pick and choose what we want to follow and what not to follow. The Bible itself says the first covenant was broken and that God made a new covenant.
And the Quran has NOT been perfectly preserved. The Hadith refutes this. And the manuscript evidence shows it hasn’t been perfectly preserved. Muslim scholars are lying to their followers.
