I like the train, the Calico mine train and just walking around Ghost Town with a stop to get chicken dinner. Been going since I was a kid 1972/73 heyday in high school the 1980's lol
I was just a kid when I visited Knott’s Berry Farm (before Kitra was born) and I *loved* Timber Mountain Log Ride more than anything, and at that time Disneyland didn’t have anything comparable (Splash Mountain was probably not even a gleam in an Imagineers eye at that point). There used to be a Disney-like dark ride that I liked where you rode boats through a swamp with singing frogs and other creatures, but the most recent time I visited (possibly also before Kitra was born) it had closed for good. It was probably modeled after It’s a Small World, so it was pretty tame. It also had an arcade at the exit, but thank heavens you weren’t required to shoot at the singing frogs, or I would have been traumatized (although the parents might feel otherwise, but it’s probably better for world relations that such a feature isn’t available on It’s a Small World.)😂 By the way, if you ever do get to travel to overseas Disney parks, I would adore seeing any videos you post. Primarily benched in the armchair for the moment, so I love to live vicariously (and I have subscribed indeed.)😊
Ordinary Adventures timber mountain log ride specially when they recently re did it with the 50th anniversary songs to sing a long too! By the way nice POV of it!
Boysenberry anything at Knott's is awesome. The funnel cakes by the Log Ride are a must. The biscuit mix and pancake mix in the stores outside the gate are great to take home too.
Man I haven't been to Knotts since I moved from So Cal in 2008! Found your channel bc of your awesome Galaxy's Edge vids, but stayed and subscribed because of all the rest of the fun vids you guys have on the channel! Thanks for putting out this awesome content! Also "Unlimited Day Dining... so you can eat some Carne Asada fries every 90 mins!"
I love rewatching all you guys videos, and going back and seeing you guys just be happy. I will admit. We do need another tipsy Kitra video from City Walk.
Another great video from KBF! Love it! They have a great android app that has an interactive map that shows you where you are, what's close to you, and wait times. The park also has free Wi-Fi (but doesn't always work well.) Too bad you guys missed Mystery Lodge. That was my favorite themed show. Sorry the fries didn't work out. The food is usually AMAZING. Can't go wrong with the Funnel Cake!
Whoa. Didn't notice the All Day Dining offer. That's pretty good. Only knew they had All Day Drink offer. And All Season Pass Dining/Drink offer. Good catch.
When I was a kid my Elementary school took us to Knott's. We are all pumped until we realized we were there to only get on three rides: the Calico mine cart ride, the log ride and Jaguar which was new. I guess those were semi-educational lol.
For attractions and or buildings that opened in 1960(Calico Mine Ride) ,1969(Timber Mountain log ride) and 1975(Originally Knotts Beary Tales building and Kingdom of Dinosaurs building). Renovated or reopened in '14-'15 Knotts is awesome. Keep up the great work you two! Oh and my favorite ride is Ghostrider.
Calico Mine was around when I was a kid (I am 61) it was built in 1960. Big Thunder was a lot later (but faster and I love it) Calico is more like a combo of Disneyland RailRoad and Thunder mountain. Oh.. my fave food, Mrs Knotts fried chicken full dinner..
Perhaps it is partly nostalgia, but I love Knott's Berry Farm. Been there many times since childhood. The recent refresh of the park was great, but I miss some of the old stuff. The Parachutes, the Corkscrew, Soap Box racers. The whole "Roaring 20's" theme was great too. We used to always eat lunch at Barney's Beanery and Mrs. Knott's Fried Chicken for dinner.
On a regular busy day the wait at Iron Reef is about 30-40 minutes, on a REALLY busy day (weekends, etc) it goes up to an hour. The fast lane wait is always 15 minutes because that’s the wait from the point of the FL entrance.
Knots is owned by cedar fair so that platinum pass gets you into all of there parks across the country living near Sandusky my step daughter gets the platinum pass every year and goes to Cedar Point, CP Shores, a few times a week and drives to Kings Island a few times during the season. Also parking is included too which is amazing not to have to pay $20 for that every time you go.
@@OrdinaryAdventures For us the ice show and mystery lodge is a great way to cool down and have a seat. My wife is disabled and these two attractions are a great way to get her some rest. Plus we just really enjoy them.
They've actually closed down the Mystery Lodge indefinitely. They could be planning to put in a new show, but with the rumors of the Ghost Town expansion coming in the next few years, my guess is some of the effects quit working so maybe they are planning to use that space for part of the expansion. It was a good show with very cool effects though.
Heading down there this week with the grandkids, for the first time in years. Good info to know! The "animatronics on the log ride are scary. Watching a video, my grand daughter stated...."They look dead" LOL
Oh man! Does the Calico Mine Ride have a pre-recorded spiel now? When I worked it (10 years ago), we were on mic with a script. About 9 years since I visited. I never get soda, only boysenberry punch. Great video, guys. Oh, my favorite ride always has been and always will be Montezooma's Revenge.
Just started watching your videos. At the end oof one of your videos you were talking about what to say at the end of it. May I suggest. “Thanks for watching and have an extra-ordinary day” Has your name in it and I think it’s cute.
This video was mostly about the rides. We will be going to the chicken restaurant in a future video as Kitra has never been. You should subscribe to find out what she thinks 😛
Someone may have already commented this but Taco Cat spelled backwards is taC ocaT also. Plus you’re in the Mexican Village so anything taco there makes sense. We do love our tacos in Mexico & in California 😀
I find your comment about Knott's Carne Asada Fries hilarious. It's part of the Meal Deal, but I only used my pass for that once. Never again. Best value has been the Boardwalk BBQ.
Knotts lost some of its charm since Cedar Fair took over the park. A turn came in 2013 with the refurbishment of the Timber mountain log ride. This year bigfoot rapids was rethemed to calico river rapids. Hopefully the trend of themed attractions continues. The 100th anniversary of Knotts should being back a new dark ride
Really enjoyed the video but tip on a really hot day don't wear black trust me live in AZ . Also are you ever nervous of dropping your phone on one of the rides ?
So with you Kitra on paying something you don’t like and still finishing it. Have that same habit. I paid for it, even though it’s not good someone made this for me to eat. Dam Guilty conscience.
Ooh shame on y'all accusing Tony Baxter of ripping off the Calico Mine Ride, when the truth is Big Thunder debuted in Florida before a year before it came to Disneyland and replaced the Mine Train Thru Nature's Wonderland and Rainbow Caverns train ride (which Walt Disney created to upstage Walter Knott's Calico ride). Tony's rider was 100 percent original. Walt's ride wasn't.
Sorry I must have been thinking about Splash Mountain. There is no denying how heavily influenced both Knott’s and Disneyland were on each other. I love Tony Baxter.
What are your favorite Knotts Berry Farm rides?
I like the train, the Calico mine train and just walking around Ghost Town with a stop to get chicken dinner. Been going since I was a kid 1972/73 heyday in high school the 1980's lol
There are some really good vlogs out there. Really enjoy your videos.

Bear-y Tales
Soapbox racers
Knotts scary mazes 👍🏼
Rank of favorite things in this video: #1-Peter’s card trick; #2-Kitra’s laughter on the log ride; #3-Iron Reef! Great video, guys!
Ha this is great
Boysenberry anything at Knott's is awesome. The funnel cakes by the Log Ride are a must. The biscuit mix and pancake mix in the stores outside the gate are great to take home too.
Agreed 💜
The magic trick was smooth that was a five out of five if you ask me. Good stuff you guys .
🪄🃏
I love living vicariously through your guys’ videos lol :)
Thanks for watching Natalie
Looking back at some videos and wow we need to see more clips of Peter doing magic tricks xD
Ha the plan was to do more on the channel but it never happened. To be honest I haven’t kept up with my magic practicing during The pandemic.
Kitra has the best smile and cheek bones your a Lucy man sir!
I agree - Peter
The outhouse and Kitra's "gross!" then the follow up jokes made me lol. Wasn't expecting that. XD
Haha

We can’t wait until the world returns to normal
Ordinary Adventures neither can we. As someone who lives in Tx, and can not get to the parks as much. Your videos keep me going.
You two make the best videos because you are such down to earth and cool amusement parks guides. Very informative too!
Thanks Bradford

Thanks for the app tip!
That was a sweet ride! The Log Jammer is one of my all-time favorite rides.
I really like the log ride and the Calico Mine Ride, those remind me most of Disneyland attractions
We need to learn magic tricks from you peter. One video should be you teaching us how to do some of these tricks.
Peter wants to add more magic tricks to the channel, we just haven’t found a way to do that yet...but stay tuned! One day we will :)
I've never been to knott's but it looks like fun! Glad you guys enjoyed it.
You should try to go someday
@@OrdinaryAdventures I definitly would if I didnt live so far...
Whoa. Didn't notice the All Day Dining offer. That's pretty good. Only knew they had All Day Drink offer. And All Season Pass Dining/Drink offer. Good catch.
You did it! You managed to get a trick in without it being forced! Well done! Look forward to seeing more!
😎❤️👍

Same
Montezooma's Revenge has been there since at least the 1970's.

I think at night on the Log Ride little kids can request a flashlight... or at least can have them on the ride from what I saw a couple of weeks ago.
Oh really? Didn’t know that
Good video looks like you had a fun time
We did!

Would love to see all the old attractions
Love the Knotts content
Awesome thank you
Damn, if only I was working when you rode iron reef, I could have seen you haha
I’m sure we’ll be back!

7:35...man, the lady next to you was really mad you disliked the carne asada fries, lol
😮😮😮
Great video guys. My wife and I love the Calico Rapids and the mine ride. But Mystery Lodge is a go too along with the ice show .
We have still never been to mystery lodge or the ice show!

I absolutely love your videos! They keep me closer to the parks I love!
However, the best ride at Knott's is the Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner To Go! 👍😎
😂💯🍗
That place really looks fun! The prices seem reasonable. Nice video!
Yeah Knotts is a great value
Enjoy watching your utube page keep it up. From England Devon

We will for sure!
I had carne asada fries 🍟 and the ones I had we're really good.
We gotta try them again

This video was mostly about the rides. We will be going to the chicken restaurant in a future video as Kitra has never been. You should subscribe to find out what she thinks 😛
My favorite has to be the log jammer, although I heard they redid Bigfoot rapids so I want to experience that
Yeah Bigfoot rapids is a lot better now. Check out our video from last week, we rode it!

I like how you cut the video from being on the ride to viewing the ride then back on the ride.
Thank you!!
knotts berry farm is my other fav park
Just ordered myself one of those sling bags 😃🎒
I’m loving it. Just took it to Knotts, Disneyland and magic live and it’s so light and fits what I need.
Ordinary Adventures Keep up the good work, your videos are awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You guys should go next to SeaWorld in San Diego or zoo, San Diego is really beautiful specially in downtown there's so much to do live events etc.
you should add the bag to youre merch .. add your logo onto it
Great idea
2:03 what how did you do that?????
I find your comment about Knott's Carne Asada Fries hilarious. It's part of the Meal Deal, but I only used my pass for that once. Never again. Best value has been the Boardwalk BBQ.
The meat and the fries weren’t good. If they were, it would be amazing because I love carne asada fries normally!!
Great video, but now I really want a video of Peter doing card tricks. ♠️♥️♣️♦️✨
We will try to work more magic in in the future. Thanks!!
My dads whole immediate family worked at Knotts when my dad was a teen.
Try the log ride and the calico train ride during KSF much better!

ghost rider, excellerator, montazumas revenge. You guys got to love ghost rider right lol?
Kitra gets motion sick on roller coasters. I like it
Is there A/C in Calico Mine? It doesn’t look too appealing for the claustrophobic.
Yes there is
Love your videos but that cut in the footage right before you made the queen of diamonds come to the top of the deck was awfully suspicious! 🤔
No funny business was done during that time I assure you.
Is that a normal deck of cards or magic deck of cards?
Normal bicycle deck
@@OrdinaryAdventures Nice!!! 👍
Taco cat is Taco cat backwards!

Hahahahaha "You know what I'm saying"
