That’s what happened in my school during class: in the drama room they where doing a presentation and they used the fog machine and then the fire alarm went off
At my elementary school they had a fog machine and it set off one of the hallway detectors. Teachers and Principles didn't know why it activated. No one did except me. I told them and said it wasn't likely. Yea sure xD.
Our system at my church has a button on the panel we push that disables each smoke detector so we can use haze. Pull stations will still activate an alarm.
A while ago I went to an arena concert with fog machines and pyrotechnics: entire place was hazy afterward. I happened to look at a smoke detector, which I think was a Notifier FSP-951, and it was lit up solid red, as were every single other smoke detector in the building! No alarm signals were seen or heard. (I think it’s some sort of Notifier voice evac, with L-series speaker strobes in the hallways, and likely making use of the main sound system for the message in the main arena bowl. I also saw an image taken during construction of the arena, with the evacuation message displayed on the video boards, and another where the video boards said “all clear”: this system seems fairly advanced! [Not a pun, it was L-series.]) I wonder if this was safe: can only the smokes, but not the pulls or sprinkler flow switches, be de-activated? Is it safe to have de-activated smoke detectors at a 17,200 concert capacity arena? What’s your opinion on this?
So many horror stories of fog machines being used for parties at schools and causing problems: I did the smart thing and let people know about this potential problem, and fog machines quickly became a no-go at my current school. Let’s see how many more people fall victim to the fog-evacuation problem.
Your Generic Emergency Light Yeah but it took another 30 seconds or so because of verification I didn’t actually see the light go off though until you made that comment
Why you don’t test with solo stick? Each smoke detector have the smoke chamber so the chamber will contain less smoke, and photodiode will know is smoke and activate relay
Nothing can ever get past that classic fog machine sound. Means that somthing fun is about to happen🥳
Very intresting! I didn’t know fake fog would activate detectors!
5:55 "Not to smoky that should hold"
Smoke Detector: *_P E R M I S S I O N D E N I E D_*
You make really great videos!! Stay safe!! And have fun!! ...
re-alarms right when he says "that should hold".
Great video 😀👍👍
That’s pretty cool!!!
Can you make a video of everything about the SFP 10UD on Saturday if you feel like it
Kashton Klein already a different video plan for this Saturday but maybe coming up soon I can
Good machine and great project new subscriber here sending my full support see you around

Those are fun I have on too I use it to test my fire alarm system to and test what what my exit sign would look like in smoke
The first vid I watched on your channel
Lol 😂 this actually happend too me at one of my live performances at one of the venue’s i was performing at 🤦♂️
Cool vid! I subbed :)
This happened at my school because of my gym teacher the entire school evacuated and FD responded non-emergent
I bet the teacher either got fired or at least got yelled at by administration
Love the low frequency sounder alarm

Same here!!! They did it in my school in colorado!
Cool!
*how are they stupid enough to not realize*
Broke: test smoke detectors with fake smoke.
WOKE:testing smoke detectors with fog.

Thats a great way to test or set off smoke detectors. How long did this take to get all the fog out the garage
Vintage fire Alarm guy 20 ish minutes
Nice pickle
That low frequency sounder sounds S O G O O D.
Yeah it’s way less shrill than the alarms in my school

They may have special exceptions for a smoke detector bypass toggle hard to say it's pretty well limitless how things could be set up or programmed
hmm, because you have the 9200udls. maybe you could hook up a module to open up the garage door for ventination?
Door closes by itself when fire alarm actives how does that work?
Held open by an electric magnet
My school was at a play and the bells start ring 15 fire truck show up but that was before I was in fire stuff
3:57, man takes his security seriously, jesus.
Smoke Detector: Oh Hell No
This is why I replaced my smoke detectors with thermal sensors.
Less false alarms but also less effective

I find it in nerving that it takes so much to set it off. Is the stuff designed to not set fire alarms off?
Not really designed I just made it myself with distilled water and glycerine
@@nics-systems-electric oh
if you look at the detector light at 5:55 it goes off again

its not a good idea to tilt a fog machine like that
I won’t turn on the fire machine inside the building or else I could set off the fire alarm.
How did the door close by self 😳 at 2:56
5:58 Never Mine
🇨🇦
🇨🇦
It's a pretty good way to simulate a fire
Bro the door closes on beat
Now I’m doing this and I’m first
fog machines arnt they used for parties as a mystic affect
Yea
@@nics-systems-electric ur so cool and cute
ur kinda cute
Oh crap crap crap!,!!
