It was to be streamlined more in the manner of Western Armies (French, British, US, etc.), Large sums were spent to move from quantity to quality in effect. It now appears these sums of cash simply ended up in the pockets of contractors with no improvement in Russian forces ( a complete waste of cash). This is now apparent in the performance of the Russian army with poorly maintained vehicles, rations out of date. ineffective officer core, etc., etc,....much to the advantage of the Ukraine!

Which allows other tanks to fire at what another can see without much effort.
I hope we get some F-16's we have hundreds that we put remote control systems in & let fighter pilots shoot down for practice. It's strictly political on that one. I say we build a F-16 factory in Keiv just to give Putler the middle finger!!

The Russians did not 'flee' from Kherson - they evacuated over 60,000 civilians and withdrew across the river. Ukraine 'liberated' a city that was mostly abandoned and undefended. The Russians then began shelling the Ukraine army from a distance beyond the range of Ukrainian weapons. It was a trap, and the Ukrainians walked right in to it
