- Just thought I'd update the description on this video since people can hardly seem to get along on youtube. Ever. Thanks guys. Anyway here is my 2 cents regarding the arguments here. These are huge animals. There are two keywords in that. Huge being one, and animals being another. We teach these animals to let us ride them around and jump things and go distances and lots of other things. The thing to remember is that they are animals. Not a car. Not something manmade to function just as we specify. So when we ask them to do something such as jump a fence, or go into the woods, or even change gaits, its our teaching that lets them know what we WANT, but it's really up to the 1200 pound animal thats carrying us to decide what they feel they want to DO. These horses all have brilliantly huge hearts and daring spirits but it really does take a horse who WANTS to jump to get it over a fence. As the saying goes, You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink. So if you have arguments, take them elsewhere. Enjoy the video.

Riding is one of the most dangerous sports in the world but so many people risked their lives to compete and do what they love. Equestrians are inspirational people and no one really understands us except for other equestrians. By the way, to the people that think that we force horses to do these things, horses and their riders work as a team, we communicate and we understand if a horse doesn't want to do something, and we don't make them . Horses are my life, inspiration and joy. This song explains everything perfectly.
Oh you play football? That's cute! R.I.P. to all of those brave souls who chose to be an equestrian and died doing it!
Delane Weber i almost died too
Delane Weber well said
I do. I have ridden a horse that would whinny with joy when she jumped. She is an amazing jumper and loves every bit of it.

Showjumpers are so willing/loyal, The clip at the start jumping the brick wall, You could see how hard he was trying not to touch it.
such a good song for equestrians i listen to it when ever i go into my show classes
ive been listening to this song EVERYTIME before i competed at horseshows for as long as i can remember :) this is the perfect song for riders
this captures the sport perfectly. thank you for reminding people that this is one of the most dangerous olympic sports out there and that its not just sitting there letting the horse do all the work. as if !!!!!!

Our horses love us and we love them. They are beuatiful creatures and they will let us no when we've gone to far. If we ask them to jump higher that they can they will refuse. Thats why we fall off so much :-)
I've always thought this song would make a great equestrian video, but knew I'd never get around to it! Glad someone did! This was amazing!
I ride western, but I've always wanted to learn to ride English and jumping. Its an incredible sport. I also rodeo(Barrel racing and pole bending). This song is just for all of us hard working horsemen/women out there. :)
Those 29 dislikes gave obviously never experienced the wonders of the Equestrian world.
I have watch this so many times!!! I love it and it sums equestrian up so well!!!!! Thank you so much for making this!!!!
Hello, I'm a gymnast. You may think that I am about to tell you about how much harder gymnastics is than horse back riding..... But I'm not going to say that..... Both of my parents grew up around horses, my dad even trained horses for awhile and that is why he has neck issues. One time a horse landed on top of him. Since they both were around horses their whole life, of course I have been around horses my whole life. I started riding at a very young age, on a mini horse. After she died, I got an actual good sized horse. I was about 7 when that happened. Riding was very harsh for me, it caused me to get sore, cry, and since I was so small I was scared all the time that I would fall, especially when my horse wasn't completely broke. When I was 8 I started tumbling, and I wanted nothing to do with horses, because I finally did something I loved, and I obviously didn't see how good I was at horse back riding for my age. The only times I used my horse after that was to go trail riding. When I was 12, my parents finally let me go into actual Artistic gymnastics. It wasn't until I was 13 that I realized how good I used to be when I was 7. I am still 13 and I kinda regret not being more dedicated to horse back riding, even though I am still in love with gymnastics. I have very hard conditioning, but honestly our conditioning is just as hard as riding a horse. Those who have never rode. Just don't understand.
lol here is an update. I started riding again. I plan on showing next summer again.
i LOVE this video , it has every moment in it , the good AND the bad unlike other who only show the good , this is just perfect , it shows everything .
i hate how people say that riding isn't a sport when they haven't even done it before. Both horse and rider work their butts of for each other and people need to understand the facts
10% luck 20% skill 15% concentrated power of will 5% pleasure 50% pain 100% reason to ride again
I agree with you all the way. We do it because we love it and they love it. I run track too and we have to keep practicing so we get better. If our horse didn't tolrate it we would probably be in the ER.
it is all true i have been in the hospital by being kicked thrown stepped on charged at and ect. i love this though because if you love what you do you make it to the top.this clip is all true about pain, victory and everything. so i am glad to say i loved it
I always watch it before my riding lessons for motivation..loved the way you edited the clips according to the lyrics..Perfect choice of song and clips
FANTASTIC video!!!! it shows the power of riding and how it feels to be around such a powerful animal!!! equestrian is truely amazing and i love it sooo much! i LOVED this video!!! :D
Horses love their work and their riders! When I first met my mare she hadn't been ridden for more than a yr so she was a bit hesitant to leave the paddock where the other horses were but then this afternoon after I had done some ground work with her (and a little bareback ride in a halter over small jumps) she didn't want to go back to her paddock she kept stopping and looking back at our riding paddock with the jumps and cones etc in it cause i only did a little ride she wanted to keep going b
i LOVE this video its awesome the song goes perfect with it and the beginning is sooo cool how the rider gets faster like the music this video is just outstanding
This song sums up equestrian very, very well x
WOP WOP WOP WOP THIS IS A NATIONAL SALUTE TO ALL RIDERS OUT THERE
One word: AMAZING! This inspires me to stay in the saddle and ride all my life. Thanks for making this video, the lyrics go so well with the clips and is perfect for equestrians. Bravo! :)
this is one of my favorite equestrian videos, love it!
I absolutly love this video! I always watch it before shows to get pumped up:)
Horses are trained. Whether the training is cruel or vicious is then what I would call "forced." However, there are horses that just love to jump. I've been fortunate to ride a couple of these wondrous creatures that, as soon as they heard the bell, they wanted to GO! They knew their job and loved it. I was along for the ride.
this song is always stuck in my head now.
ikr!!! its awesome!! these horses jump 5 feet on a regular basis , that wall was actually 7 ft
This is the perfect song for Equestrians!!! Fantastic video!
I love riding my horses and I do dressage but to the people turning down football, please understand that all sports are difficult in their own ways. I dont really understand football either but its not a nice thing to do to say they are lower than us. I bet that football players could come and say we are lower than them but every sport is difficult in its own way, other people dont understand that about us and we need to understand that about them. BTW great video! It made me have chills!
+Moon Light Yesss! We should appreciate everyone, cause every sport is beautiful to someone in its won way :)
+Karen Gonzalez-Videla **own
And since people die in both Equestrianism and football, they're both dangerous.
I know that some tackling causes fatal head injuries, and that many people get concussions.
So...
I treat them like they treat me. If they think horseriding isn't a sport, I'll think the same about football
+Shana Rosseel I understand that
Just says a few things horses are amazing creatures
love the chestnut stallion with blaze at the olympics// what a kawinkedink i was watching olympic things and i watched his yesterday lol!
so true horses can do anything they want you can tell them wht to do but it dont mean they'll do it they dont want to go you can try to turn them so they'll go but there animals they can change there mind anytime they want also awesome video
AMAZING VIDEO!!! I can't stop watching it!!!
3:22 that wall is at least 5 feet is amazing how high horses can jump. I didn't even know they jumped walls that high lol
Wow. This was amazing. Very nice job!
the clip of the wall fallin near the end made me get shivers -.- but i lovve the video and the sog and horses!! lol well done
Seems to be a lot of opinions from people with little sense about horses. Although abuse of animals does exist, the generalization of "forcing and using cruelty" to train horses is clearly just uneducated banter. There is a bond that develops between horse and rider, to the point of where the animal and human would do anything for one another. This is usually how the success in any equine sport occurs....and this is why no person that has not experienced this bond could ever understand or even have an informed opinion. To those who feel that a horse is forced by cruel measures to do what is asked, and that they have no control over what the human is "pushing" them to do....climb aboard. Run the barrels, participate in a cross country or show jumping event.....feel free to use whatever devices you deem necessary. Test that theory of yours that horses are forced and cannot resist. Or you can save yourself the bruising (and embarrassment) and understand that TRUE equestrians love these animals more than you will ever have the ability to understand. TRUE equestrians ride bareback, bridleless, swim with their horses, nurse their horses when they are sick or injured. Sorry about the wordy comment....ignorant people just irritate me :)
this actually makes my body shiver, means sooo much
Haha at 3:34 that rider is waving her crop around like its a fairy wand LOL great vid. I can't wait to be dis good ;D
love this video! It shows what us real equestrians go through and why we love it!

This made me want to cry, it was just perfect!
I LOVE the way u made this!!!!!!
This gave me goosebumps...
EPIC VIDEO!!!
This vid is amazing those wall jumps are propper high wow!!!!! U would have to be like amazon to jump them! X
this is amazing! i love the start!
As for the vid: Well done! As for me (of course I have to give my opinion, too! ^^): I don't like seeing horses having to jump higher than themselves. But in my nine years of riding different horses I learned a few things: There are those who don't really want to jump and there are those who see a fence or something and just run and jump over it, wether it's 0,50m or 1,50m doesn't matter.
One thing I know for sure: You can't force a horse. (Unless you use violence.)
Great video! Absolutely love it.
Very nice, well edited and compiled video. :) Great job!
This is my favorite equine music video... I love it! I was singing it while riding. :D Haha... I love this video, though!
What an AMAZING video!! I just adore and love horses. I don't have one but I wish I did, and hopefully when I get one I will be doing that. (Hopefully not the falling part)
I love love this video and song! good job :)

Love this video, so true! The song match equestrian ‼️
Great vid! that brick wall jump is pretty epic!! :D
Chills every fricken time!!!
This video has literally changed me, but I say 5% pain 50% pleasure
To all the people saying we can't force horses to do something: I'm riding for 10 years and I worked with many great german equestrians such like Uta gräf, mark baudach, and many more I know how the business works in higher classes and I experienced that a lot of times horses ARE forced not from the people I mentioned before but from other high class equestrians! Horses are beaten up with ropes and even metal sticks sometimes when I forts heard about something like that I could believe it and I didn't want to because I couldn't believe someone would hurt such a beautiful creature... Horses are forced not by their humans but by the pain humans sometimes put on them! Some riders hit their horses some use electroshocks ... I think no one should ever do such a thing and I'd never work with someone who does it, but the sad truth is some people do it. And even if their are not forced to do anything it's still not good for them! Horses aren't build to jump that high or to walk super extraordinary under a rider just because we think it looks good! They wouldn't do it in nature and I think they shouldn't have to do it if they're living with is as well! I know horses are strong and they can carry a human but only if we do it the right way and aren't too heavy also horses should be allowed to walk and behave naturally and we shouldn't force them to do things they wouldn't do in nature! Jumping isn't bad for the horse if we do it the right way and not over do it and it doesn't hurt the horse if it's done right, but overdoing things will sooner or later hurt the horse and we wouldn't want that as equestrians right? Also many horses are murdered every year because they don't want to jump anymore or simply can't jump any longer because they are already hurt! Some people just don't see their horses as horses with hearts, brains and souls anymore but as sport machines and if the don't work anymore they just are thrown away like trash! Think about the before you say we can't force horses! And I don't want to offend anyone but that's just my opinion so... Yeah I think I'm done. Btw sorry for my bad English since I'm from Germany it's not that good...
I use a crop but I hardly use it my horse knows I have it
I used this...
Boy in class (BIC): Hey you! Ya you! Yo think you play a sport?
Me: I do. What do you do?
BIC: Football. What do you do?
Me: I ride horses
BIC: LOL!! Thats no sport! You just sit there.
Me: Oh sure. Thats SO much harder.
BIC: It is.
Me: Let me get this straight you play football?
BIC: Ya.
Me: Dats Cute.
BIC: *silence*
:3

I Love this video. Amazing job. :)
I absolutly love this video
Omg! This video is soo for Equesrian!! Love it!!
These people saying horses hate this probably haven't ever been on a horse. My horse is kind of cranky.. He stands around, falling asleep, with his ears back ALL the time. he will NOT prick his ears for a photo or anything. But he gets in that ring, we approach the first jump, and his ears shoot up. Sometimes I'll talk to him, and he'll flick his ears back to listen, but he's having a blast in that arena.
I'm seeing a lot of comments saying horses are forced. If horses are forced, why do we drop the reins and let the horses move? Why do we have trouble making the horse listen? Why do we ride with friends?
Everyone that says these things about forcing a horse... I would like to see you try it. Every time we get on a horse or pony we are prepared for the emberesment of riding into other riders or being slammed against a wall. So before you say the animals are forced think to your self... Is it true
CanterCrazy All us riders know horses are not forced if they don't want to do they won't. I had a horse that would not jump at all so he was a good trail horse. No force is needed agree and this is a wonderful video.
CanterCrazy exactly!I am a rider to and i drop my reins and put my hands on my head and my horse will just jump!
Horses aren't forced to do anything, they love their work.
Most do and if they don't you can't make them. If a horse does not want to jump nothing you can do will make him be a jumper. This is so true Jose ty.
my horse Rocky loves his work. He acts happier and nicer after he has been ridden.
wow I understand this so well, people think its so easy but this video and many more proves them wrong your a great editorr
amazingly awesomeness!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow this is a really great video!!! subbed!
same here, iv ridden both and its like dressage saddle-jumping saddle. Show saddle-barrel racing saddle. there just different saddles for different styles of riding. my best friend owns tenesee walkers and rides western. i (wish) i owned a thouroughbred and am a jumper. both sports are amazing, and when we lose the saddles, you'd never know the difference.
LOVE THIS VIDEO!!!
Wow i LOVE you video, it is very nice. I like the beginning very well, because the man say let´s go and the horse began to run :)
my english is bad ;D
FANTASTIC video!!!! i LOVED it! :D
Excelente video..!! muy bueno el tema..!!!
best movie I ever seen! :o
For the ones who think that you can't let a horse do what you want if he doesn't want it,
think about this
Do you like work? Do you like school? Did you ever did something you don't like because you were scared?
If you don't go to school, you wont find a job, i you don't find a job you have no money, no food... You can die from hunger and cold.
If a horse don't do what a rider ask, you can sell him for slaughter.
Horses are not stupid, they're just like us.
+Bo Kiro Im sure my horses know i wont sell them for slaughter. It would kill me if any of them died because they are my best friends. Have you ever went to school because you wanted to? You wanted to get something done? You didnt want to sit around all day bored? Horses are very smart but they arent like humans because they dont have to make choices like we do. Horses can refuse if they dont want to jump. Many horses love jumping, its like your doing something with your best friend and having a great time. Its not just about the work its about the connection between you and your horse. The only reason I would want to go to school is to see my friends but maybe also because we are doing something fun too.
A wonderful video!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
love it.
wow this song fits so well i mean its such a hard sport ive been riding my whole life and havnt even gone past a canter then again my horse is stubborn but i ride english stle and am currently learning the manevours to dressege test 1 i havnt even gotten past that this is a very difficult sport but a fun sport
