That looks lovely moist delicious buttery cake. Have u ever thought of switching to some other recipe because of lots of butter in vanilla cake recipe ?
Oh but why? Butter is the best, and the kids are young enough to eat cake still! If you can afford butter, go for it!

This looks so great. I only doubt I would be able to cut a piece and transfer to a plate cause it’s so tall. Some acrobatic finesse is needed for that me thinks :) Happy BDay for your boy! I just celebrated my own although without such a superb cake

I bought some Oreo's to check them out. Worse biscuit I've ever eaten. I threw then away and ate the box they came in. I'd give them a try again in that cake though.
