- The Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEx) is an 89.21-kilometre (55.43 mi) four-lane expressway currently under construction north of Manila, Philippines, which connects the Central Luzon region with the Ilocos Region. The expressway begins at the northern terminus of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway in Tarlac City, Tarlac and currently ends at Rosario, La Union.
The first section of the project, from Tarlac City to Pura, Tarlac, had been operating on a "soft opening" basis since October 31, 2013, and was ready for full operation in November 2013.[2]
Part of the second segment, which will take motorists up to Ramos, Tarlac, opened on December 23, 2013. The section from Anao, Tarlac up to Rosales, Pangasinan, opened in April 2014, while the remaining segment connecting Rosales to Urdaneta opened on December 20 of the same year.[3]
The third segment of the expressway partially opened up to Binalonan in 2016[4][5] and Pozorrubio in 2017.[6][7] The final section of the expressway from Pozorrubio to Rosario is opened to motorists in July 2020.[8][9]
Proposals have also been raised for extending the project all the way to Laoag in Ilocos Norte.[10][11]
The TPLEX is an extension of the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and is part of Expressway 1 of the Philippine expressway network.
The expressway crosses the three rivers within the province of Pangasinan. The rivers along the TPLEx area are Agno River, Binalonan River, and Bued River.

Hello dada and to mama koo, ang tplex is going to extend to san juan la union by 54kms from rosario at hinihintay nalang ang approval from neda, at yung clex naman from tarlac to cabanatuan phase1 nasa above 50percent completion na at yung operations and maintenance provider ay ipapabid pa after ng completion ng construction, keep up the work

Nung feb 2020 nagpunta kami sa san juan la union at ang last exit ay hanggang pozzorubio pa lang. Btw bauang la union is our province. Sayang at di ka man lang pina i-turn sa rosario rotonda dahil babalik ka naman talaga sa manila on the same day. However ok pa rin at nkaka refresh ang mga tanawin. Sana sa susunod ay matupad ang balintawak to baguio or balintawak to san juan la union or balintawak to baguio via mcarthur highway or the old north road.
