he's actually so close to coming back and i just cant believe it. ive held it off in my mind for the whole time and now it just feels like an amazing surprise. we're really getting our reigning cy young back :')
Cole was lights out tonight. 10ks, 70 pitches. Would’ve went deeper in the game if it hadn’t been a throwing error by the SS and that extended that inning.

Not really he can easily go from 70 to 90 pitches and pitch 6 innings in the bigs
Agreed. He should be back for June 19th start. His stuff is there. Maybe will need a start or two to continue to knock off the rust but he will be fine.
@@elshem122 Why even rush? Get him fully ready, and throw him when he is a fire-breathing dragon who can go 100+ pitches, and give us six, seven innings every time out. We don't want him to go four in his first time out and get the bullpen off rhythm.

Pretty much. It will be much harder without him against teams with elite pitching like the Phillies or Dodgers. Our bats are never at full power in the post session it seems.
Having him fresh for the playoffs is going to be huge
