Estatossa's commandment power was practically a death sentence to anyone fighting him, so seeing this gigachad walk through it was insane when I first saw it in the anime.

Escanor wore the mantle of pride, but underneath, he was simply confident.

To be fair meliodas could’ve cooked him because he wasn’t trying the whole time, meliodas beat him in his backstory and zeldris (divine poke victim) explained that he wasn’t trying and got carried away which is why he lost

Escanor basically defeated Galand of the ten continents with his own stipulation, beat and humiliate Estarossa, assert his dominance on Ludociel, and just the over all pride and arrogance he has
Estarossa is actually mael, the archangel that originally had escanor's power "sunshine", he was changed into a demon after meliodas betrayed his dad the demon king, zeldris is known as the demon kings executioner as well as being meliodas' brother
I don't think he fully explained how disrespectful Escanor is to Estarossa. Anyone who fights Estarossa with hatred in their heart, even the tiniest little bit, will be unable to harm anyone else. Escanor straight up walked up to him. With absolute zero hatred, and told the guy straight to his face, that he only felt bad for them to face such a triumphant opponent. He won that fight just walking up to Estarossa.
More like the Hulk is based on a a guy from the Celtic mythologie named Cú Chulainn. He gets stronger and transform when he gets angry. And with Sins we hava a lot of Britain mythologie or sagas in this, finally in a good Anime
Escanor walking right through Estarossa's commandment was the biggest "f%$k you" moment in this anime
