I live in PA. They really factor in family size. I personally feel that food stamps should be for families. But the requirements needs to be revamped to reflects the current cost of living. Not the cost of living 10 years ago.

Lawd yes!! I have 2 kids and married, i work a good healthcare job and still struggle with buying food. A few months ago, i got cut off food stamps because i was $100 over the income limit. Food prices are getting outrageous

i buy meals and make meals for my sons and skip myself. it’s just too much for all three of us on my one income.

I have children it took me 2 months to get my food stamps reinstated, they asked about my cash apps and tax money smh. i was cut off 2 months and i keep having to send job verifications to make sure I dont make too much money. here in michigan

As a fellow RBT in Georgia, I can’t afford these reinforcers all the time anymore either! Not all companies reimburse. I was told that we “spend a small fortune”. Not anymore because I can’t even buy groceries for my own house and cannot get any kind of assistance. 🥴

The problem is people get food stamps but everything they want and not what they need. Then food stamps get cut and they don't know how to shop when you have to pay. I also don't see any junk cars outside on the 1st when there in line with two carriages full 5 different cereals 8 packs of Reese's I see it don't feel bad at all.
