Extremely Powerful Catapult in 1 Hour

I built this simple, yet very powerful DIY catapult from scraps in 1 hour (kid's school project). It has a shooting range of over 100' (when used to shoot smaller objects).
List of materials used:
1. Block of wood 21 inch long, 3 by 3 inch
2. Bracket from Lowes or Homedepot that is used for frame construction
3. Piece of curved scrap wood about 18 inch long
4. Tennis ball
5. a bunch of thick rubber bands
6. a few screws and metal pieces to attach the rubber bands to the arm and the block of wood.

@@allegracurrie6616 I didn’t use the same metal bracket but something similar. I went to Home Depot to find it. Just find any that will allow for a bolt to go through
