The best thing about teaching is when you start off and they know 0 and then a few months later you can have conversations and read texts and they understand

It's been really satisfying seeing some of your older vids and then watching your new ones and seeing you grow as a person and also as a youtuber and videographer.
Being a teacher sometimes can be hard. On the other hand it is like a magical Vietnamese food for your soul. Teaching somebody about something helps organizing yourself like an origami flower and opens up your smell to a new geometry, full of sharpness and taste.
My sister and I agree you’re one of the most relatable youtubers we have watched. My sister just got back from 2 years in Thailand and she’s processing the experience. Your perspective on an experience like Asia has been very helpful because it’s hard for people to really understand what a move like that does to a person unless you’ve gone through something similar. Keep up the vlogs. I find them a joy to watch. 😃
Just listening to your monologue talking about your life in Japan and the experiences you’ve had and teaching made me want to cry, it’s exactly what I would want for myself in Japan. Words can not describe how much this video motivates and inspires me to finally get to Japan. Thank you.
100% agree with the advice on leaving a position that you are not happy in. One of the Worst things in life is being stuck in a job you dislike , which builds frustration and anger which isnt good for anyone. Another amazing Vlog, Love your Work!
Hello! Found your CZcams Channel today and I really liked watching this Video. I came from Germany to Japan in February and I'm a Teacher for children too. I never had the wish to become a Teacher, but now, I really enjoy it and I never expect I would like it, but to see how much fun the kids are having doing your lesson and how happy they are to meet you again is such a wonderful feeling. I started with zero experiences, but as long as you love kids and you do your Best, your experiences will improve quickly. Sometimes, I still feel a little lonely in Japan, but I can't think about to go back to Germany. This country offers you so many new opportunities. When you feel lost, I think Japan is definitely a good place to find yourself!
I'm loving this new series of yours. I feel like you seem much happier and more confident and it's showing. I also really like those voiceovers and throwbacks to when you first started the JET program!
Your voice is so relaxing! It’s so nice when you provide commentary because it truly makes me feel like I can take a deep breath and relax. Not everything needs to be so rushed and you do such a good job editing and transitioning to ensure it. Thanks gal!

What a lovely channel. What you were saying about teaching take me back to my own experienced when I was teaching at kindergarten abroad. Getting to know them and make an impact on their life, even though it was only for a few months. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for sharing your story. It just warms my heart to see you not giving up and being so strong, and most importantly you make an effort to inspire the others out there. Your videos have helped me so much and I wish you all the best.
I absolutely love your videos, I’ve been researching like crazy videos of traveling to Japan (I even binge watched all your videos one night... Ahahah). When I graduate from Nurisng school in a year I plan on taking a long vacation with my boyfriend to visit as many cities I can, however I’m the most excited to explore Tokyo. Watching your videos makes me so excited and it’s so awesome seeing what it’s like living in Japan. ☺️
I recently stumbled upon your channel and I can't stop watching on and on! Please keep on with what you're doing and show people how amazing Japan is!! 🇯🇵❤️ I admire your optimism and positive attitude which really are contagious - I love watching your videos because they brighten up my mood😍 Looking forward to many many of your videos ans for the moment I enjoy watching all of the ones you already have on! Greetings from Austria😘
Hi there! I discovered your channel some days ago and I've been watching non stop ever since. As someone who is preparing to move abroad in a couple of years (hopefully) these sort of videos you make are really inspiring.. just watching your "day to day" and the outlook you've attained on life by experiencing that new culture motivates me. Please keep them coming!
I'm not a teacher but I give home lessons for quite some years and it's the most rewarding thing seeing kids grow and do well in school with your help. Your videos are so soothing but also have all these bits of fun sprinkled across them, I love it!
It makes me happy to see you in your element with other creators. The voiceovers you do are so genuine and inspiring, and the way you film these new videos really helps to remind me of all the little things in life I'm grateful for. I hope you're having a wonderful day💖
i've been watching a lot of your videos these past two days and have enjoyed seeing you grow and mature through the years in your videos. i think the biggest challenge you have experienced is that you didn't have a mentor teaching you these things about work and life and you just learned it as you go. carpe diem really, and in some way i am envious because of that.
I'm sorry if this sounds generic or common , but I just wanted to say, thank you!. I have anxiety and depression and I am going through a rough time in my life with my family, but my dream has and still is living in Japan, and you are my daily inspiration. So I just wanted to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart :)
Hi Kelly! With all the bad experiences you had at first, and all the difficulties that you overcame, you deserve to be happy! You are making a difference in the life of lots of people for sure. Being a teacher is a noble position.
Your coworkers seem like amazing people, it’s really uplifting and inspiring to see others enjoy their job 💓✨ Also loving ASMR Kelly 😂 The gimble is 100% worth it and now I desperately want one 😂
I knew a lot of things regarding Japan, thank you very much for your videos. I wish you could update more videos so that I could know well on what’s like to live in Japan.
Hey Kelly! Ive lived in Japan for 4 1/2 years of my life! I used to live in Tachikawa in high school. I currently have a house in Okinawa and have lived and worked here for 15 months. It’s no easy for any of us but I hope you are you able to make the best of your time here!
Awww of all your videos, I find this the most inspiring maybe because I could relate to working in general. Thank you and Merry Christmas~ 🎄 I'm glad I'm a subscriber 😙
Thank you for this! I have just (literally, last week!) moved to Tokyo after studying English language at university and getting my CELTA qualification! I was so excited to start teaching because what experience I already have had, I've loved! Yet coming here and reading about a lot of negative experiences English teachers have had here has made me worried about finding a job, even second guessing a job offer I received for a company I was initially so excited to find! But I know I need to jump in and start experiencing and learning from everything my time in Japan will offer me :) I'm also challenging myself to use a new word/phrase everyday in Japanese because I speak nothing yet!!! Wish me luck and thank u for the videos!!!
I don’t usually watch these kind of videos , just mainly runescape and anime lol. But I thought I watch this and honestly, you’re so strong to keep going on this journey. Keep it up! ❤️
This is the best description video ever !! There is no doubt that working away from your own country is the hardest part of living abroad and a nearly 80% of your life will be spent on working. So we need to keep looking for what we really want to do. Thanks for sharing :D
Hi Kelly !!! I love how true you are to yourself in your videos and you are not afraid to film yourself without make up and say what you want. Thank you so much in sharing your experiences and I'm trying my best to watch all your videos! And also, I'm following your IG too! I'm a fan. LoL. Best regards, Shar from East Malaysia!
Yessss, I worked in the ESL program at UMHB with our sister school exchange program. I wanted to go to Japan after graduation to teach but couldn't rise enough money to go...so GIRL, you are living my dream. I am 49 now so I really love these vlogs.
This was a really sweet and fun video. It's such a pleasure watching you hanging out with your friends, having fun and being happy. After hearing that you went through some negative experiences early on, I think you showed lots of courage and strength by standing firm, spreading your roots in a different direction and finding a new source of happiness to fulfill your goals and dreams of living in Japan. You speak with such encouraging words and that helps people feel determined to start driving their desires and motivates them to live up to their ambitions. You're a very beautiful person and you always look super pretty and remarkably lovely. Bless your sweet heart👍❤🇯🇵
You are honestly living my dream right now. I have always wanted to teach English. I frankly do not care in what country I get to achieve this dream, but after having visited Japan this past summer and seeing all these amazing vlogs from teachers in Japan, I would absolutely love to live my life there. Your videos are so inspiring and I hope that one day I'll be able to live a life with the same positive outlook and mindset that you have.
♡ your comments on teaching there and also your coworkers. One day I will make my way out there from the states. I loved the light show!! Super pretty!! keep vlogging girl and you're the best!!
I’m a foreign student here in Japan, also teaching english for kids. I am not a major in Teaching so I really had difficulties dealing with kids i even cried at first because yes theyrr monsters, cute monsters. I’m in a state of reflecting if I’m doing good in teaching and reflecting if this is really the career for me. I love your videos it help me deal with my thoughts and you are such an inspiration! ✨ keep posting more about teaching pls. 🤗
I'm studying English and German to become a teacher some day. It was always my dream to go Japan and teach there so I'm relieved that there are people out there like you who share their experiences with us. It makes everything less scary and shows that it's possible to achieve your goals even if it's hard sometimes. Thank you!
It's great that you didn't give up. Finding a job that you're happy to go to every day makes a huge difference, no matter where you live. A community of like-minded and creative friends helps too. What kind of gimbal did you get? I'm hesitating to get one for myself.
As always, very fun and inspirational and somewhat uplifting content especially when you start saying things from what you experienced in life, it is somehow making me, encouraging me to do somethings that are out of my comfort zone and just be strong whatever may the outcome would be. Again Ms. Kelly thank you for very good and fun video i wish you all the best, please be safe and stay beautiful as always 👍
The lights in this video were so beautiful! I was really unsure about whether I wanted to teach in Korea or Japan, but after hearing your experience and how hard your working toward your goal, it really made me think "Wow I shouldn't give up." Ive been really unhappy with my work experience so far and cant wait to graduate and start my career. I might just give Japan a try! Looking forward to your future videos^-^
I grow up don't understand why my mother love being a teacher, event know that she only made $40.0/month back in 2001 (back in 1994 she made only $5.0/month as a high school teacher in Asia). Her simple answer was "I loving being a teacher, and I like to share my knowledge". Simply love what you do may overcome everything.
LOVE from Malaysia. Next year I plan to go Japan. Very excited and feel very lucky saw your video.Yaa I hope I have level confidence like you 💝 haha.. I'm too shy infront camera.
I do teach kids and teens, in a very different way...but I am also making a difference in the world, in my community. I love the way you view life. I really appreciate your bravery, your courage.
I've been enjoying your videos a lot! I'm an older college student (currently 34) and I'm majoring in Japanese with the goal of moving to Japan and being a translator. I'm looking into the JET program as a way to get a job to get into Japan and, when my contract is up, find a new job to stay in the country. I've honestly never wanted to teach young kids, but I can certainly see how amazing it could be. I think doing the JET program would be a great way to get into Japan and to push me even further out of my comfort zone :) The only teaching experience I have is from teaching Yoga professionally for 3 years - not quite the same thing as teaching English, but it's something!
I am not a teacher, but I am daycare provider. love everything about it. like what one of your teacher said like you can be a kid again. so true. I do take care of a child at a school and can interact with other children as well as the child that I take care of. it is a rewarding job as well.
My brother and I have been obsessed with Japan for as long as I can remember. I die for your videos. Im vicariously living through you! Lol you are such a doll and im so glad i found your channel because you are the best.
@@KellyMorita Im still trying to get through all of your videos, but if you havent done a video on exploring the country side and the authentic food id love to see that (if feesable or if you ever get the chance) ive watched many vloggers but for some reason im just drawn to you and your energy. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and im so grateful to see your life through vlogs. Im from ohio so not to far from where youre from! Hey Kelly I love your video and I LOVE Japan and Tokyo in general and I always want to live in Japan one day. Also, I would like to say that u just enjoy your life in Japan right now and everything will come into place for you soon!!!!
Great vlog! Love your message on perseverance. A quote from Robert Collier: "Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out." Looks like your efforts are paying off. Doing what you love at an amazing place with amazing people... 👌👌👌

Aww thanks I love that I documented that.

A piece of advice for viewers as a decade expat in Japan.
It should be obvious after watching this video, but just in case: anyone can teach English in Japan. No experience, no qualification whatsoever is needed. Anyone with a passport from an English speaking country can get hired, and sometimes not even that is necessary.

Thanks for watching! 💕
keep posting more about teaching pls. 🤗
Thank you so much! I’m glad I can inspire you, love. 💕
I'm studying English and German to become a teacher some day. It was always my dream to go Japan and teach there so I'm relieved that there are people out there like you who share their experiences with us. It makes everything less scary and shows that it's possible to achieve your goals even if it's hard sometimes. Thank you!
CZcams is a magical thing 🙌🏻
I'm currently applying to teach in Japan next fall and I'm so excited to be there and start my career
Keep on making these videos, you're getting better everyday!
Japan is definitely amazing! I’ve never been to Korea sadly but I heard it’s a more fast paced country.
The advice you give hits spot on ❤️ thank you
You’re welcome!
You’re welcome!
Enjoying your videos
you look so pretty even without makeup on
Your voice over always make me smile...
here a big bear hug for being a up beat person ty
Wow this came at a good time! Im trying to go for a promotion. Even though I'm gonna miss my people!
The end was so cute! X
I am not a teacher, but I am daycare provider. love everything about it. like what one of your teacher said like you can be a kid again. so true. I do take care of a child at a school and can interact with other children as well as the child that I take care of. it is a rewarding job as well.
So rewarding!
My brother and I have been obsessed with Japan for as long as I can remember. I die for your videos. Im vicariously living through you! Lol you are such a doll and im so glad i found your channel because you are the best.
