VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Carly is a young entrepreneur that took finances into her own hands by designing and help build her tiny home. A professional company constructed the glossed pine and metal exterior, and the interior was made with her own two hands and help from family and friends. When you enter her house, the first thing you see is a bright kitchen with an open layout and organized shelving. There's a seven cubic ft fridge, electric stove, washer/dryer combo, and a deep sink holding a drying rack, and a cutting board made to size.
At 3 x 8 1/2 ft, her bathroom is unique as it's 100% waterproof! The living area has a couch that holds excess storage and pulls out into a bed. The kitchen table is highly versatile - it rolls, extends, hides two stools, and has drawers for office use. Her 100% waterproof bathroom measures 3x8 1/2 ft with a stand-up shower, Glacier Bay flushing toilet, and a small sink.
There are two lofts, one currently used for storage, and the other is the master bedroom. Carly keeps this stunning tiny home at a comfortable temp with a Pioneer mini-split. Under the stairs is her music nook that holds her guitar, amp, and a beautiful vinyl record player. This small business owner and musician researched with much thought, and it shows in her perfect living space!

I sure admire what you have done to your home build and your life at such a young age. I'm a 65 yr old woman now and I sit everyday watching what other people have done and are doing with their tiny homes, van conversions and RV living. I don't know if that's in the Lords plan for my future at my age but I would love to be living that lifestyle. Wonderful video and your home is beautiful. I am almost 72 and feel the same way you do. I have been a tiny house fan for a long time. My husband was not. So I lived through watching others living their dream. My husband passed away this year from Covid. God rest his soul. At my age and health problems a tiny house doesn’t seem to be in my future unless God has other plans. That would be super!

I live in Airway Heights Washington. It's by Spokane in Eastern Washington. Where are you living? I don't know if I will ever be in a van living or not before Jesus comes and takes me home but I sure would love it! My health isn't that great but I think I would be ok. The thing is both of you mentioned God. Maybe like me you've seen hardships & suffering. But over the the years God was with me & the results of the struggle & loss brought something I never would have thought, let alone ask. Provision where I could not see possibility.

Right now I am hurting so bad over what Satan is trying to do to my family to destroy us. Be watchful God tells us and Amen to that! The closer and stronger my relationship with my Lord Jesus becomes the more my daughter hates me! She is on her 40's and yesterday she told me to get out of her house for no reason and told me I was toxic! My granddaughters hear her words every time I get the courage to go to their house. It's not me that's toxic, it's the evil around my precious family that is trying to destroy us that is toxic! I don't know how I ever would have or could be in this world without the Lord by my side. This is the best setup and I love the couch, not just a bench pretending to be a couch. Also the table/desk is ideal. Enjoy your home.
I agree. I often wonder, how those built in's with storage can be at all comfortable.
The adaptable-expandable sectional/sleeper and the dining table/work desk were my FAVES, along w/her sink that has both a removable cutting board + roll-up-roll-out-drying rack.

I love the staircase. I know that storage staircases are practical, but hers looks so much nicer. It really opens up the space.

Fantastic choices! Loft over the sitting area instead of the standing area, in unit laundry, waterproof bathroom, etc. It looks comfortable and functions.

Your the first person i have seen with a proper bin, so many people are just putting away a bin under the counter with nothing on top to stop smells from breaking out all over the cupboard, its great you have a lid on your bin.
This house is lovely and I admire the young woman for knowing what she wanted and achieving it with a well thought out plan. Very impressive.

What an adorable little home! It’s nice to see a young person making plans for a life that isn’t bogged down by credit card debt and as you mentioned, endlessly dumping your money into rent that in the end gets you nothing. As a person “of a certain age” it took me a moment to realize that a vinyl player was really a record player. Love your comment “everybody needs a junk drawer…maybe two!” Perfect!! I would have liked to have seen a better view of the bathroom. “Shiplap PVC” isn’t something I’m familiar with and it sounded interesting. Love the sofa. I’m interested in ’tiny’ myself but in the form of a built out bus so I can travel and have my home. Love to know where you got that beauty from! All in all you did a wonderful job. It’s well thought out and indeed is an investment for your future. Especially since housing is becoming less and less affordable and young people may find themselves suffocating in college debt. Big thank you to “Bob the Builder” for being willing to let you get in there and help with the build. Especially not having any kind of experience (that would be me). I’m hoping for the same arrangement for my bus! May you have many happy and blessed years ahead in your Tiny home!!

Very Nice! You could mount a deflector panel in front of your AC to redirect the air output. You could also make covers out of your skirting to totally cover the wheels to keep even smaller critters out as well as keeping it warmer underneath.

This is a well done tony home. I like electric with solar power. For off-grid laundry options I would use a wonderwash handcranked. I would have a collapsible portable bathtub. I would have bug/mosquito nets/screens on all doors and windows.

Exposure to PVC & plasticizers (what makes the plastic "soft" & malleable) have been strongly associated with increased risk of developing following conditions: Hormonal imbalances, Reproductive development problems, Allergies in children, Brain cancer, Hardening of connective tissue (scieroderma), Malignant tumors (cholangiocarcinoma & angiosarcoma), to name a few. Heat makes it airborne (like hot showers, where your pores open up as well, absorbing toxins even more readily). Also, the processes of manufacturing PVC & burning waste PVC are known to create dioxins.
