Solar Installation on Flat Roof in 2 Stages Inc External Battery System

In this video we install the first part of a solar system on a flat roof which doesn't require local planning approval, whilst waiting for planning approval for the next phase on the top of the property.

Don't you add any skirting/guard around the panels to prevent pigeon nesting underneath?

Not on every job, depends if customer wants, can look unsightly and hinder airflow.

The system cannot protrude more than 0.2 meters beyond the plane of the roof slope. -so can,t be higher than the flat roof without planning permission
