If I had a teacher like this in school I would have taken a totally different path.
Me too. I would of been a meth head /crack head instead of a successful intellectual.
I accidentally fell asleep with this podcast on, and I had a dream that he was my teacher in high school. I have no idea what I learned.
One thing never discussed when I hear people talking about that "time travel stuff" is it would need to effect all the atoms and molecules constituting our body, because we don't want to arrive amputated and bleeding. And probably also the device enabling us to do that as we don't want to end up at a later point in time but still at the place where Earth happened to be on its orbit in the moment we started.
Ah, I forgot, you want to travel interplanetary ... no, not that close, you want to go to quite another solar system, maybe another galaxy. Well then, you need to do a really precise measurement to aim to the exact spot to land and don't want to end up buried under 50 kilometers of rock above you. And that leaves out the problem how there would suddenly be space for you and your time travel device. If you and your time travel device are all "material" all the atoms in the place you go, are they just explode out to the side in kind if a big explosion?
Now, of course someone can say my assumption is we start from 3+1D spacetime and want to end up on another 3D+1 spacetime and we should get rid of that too.
But I feel I inclined to state: now you are going into speculation land where everything is possible.
This podcast was recorded in February 2023.
In my opinion it is wrong of CZcams not to require date of production stamps on all videos
indeed, in description of video there is a release date feb22, 2023 but it is waaaay down at the bottom, not really transparent. On the other hand, I can understand why JR is reposting, it is because YT will not really offer you this video and it is quite logical to offer it after the TH interview
Who's rewatching all of Eric's episodes after the recent Terrance one?
Don’t miss his recent appearance on the Duncan Trussell Family Hour! Another masterful convo.
No question about Eric is more than just a top gun physicist. He’s a today guy that can communicate below his pay grade and is more of a genius by having the ability to communicate using analogies
I totally agree with you that he is a top quality communicator and entertainer. And easy to say he’s intelligent, but I think we have to be careful with how we view his expertise because he is definitely not a physicist (and he’s never claimed to be one to my knowledge). He does have a degree in mathematics though!
@@ericgraham8150 its true that he's not a physicist necessarily and does not claim to be. He does however have a phd in mathematical physics from harvard. So its not quite accurate of you to say "he has a degree in mathematics though" as if it were some low level far removed degree when compared to the things he is speaking about.
@@ericgraham8150 Neither was Einstein before his discoveries. We should be careful with throwing the baby out with the bathwater ;)
I’m Here after watching The JRE Podcast with Terrence Howard and Eric Weinstein 👍🏻 👍🏻
If Joe had a podcast with Katt Williams, Billy Carson, Terrence Howard, and Eric Weinstein all at one time, that Podcast would BREAK the Internet and melt minds
Only Billy will melt your mind with his word play and other bs. Always says he has the proof. Never shows it
@@roryhayes9756what are you yapping about? All the proof he mentions is accessable by the public and you can even translate the tablets yourself😂 someone cant keep up!
Eric Weinstein’s superpower is his ability to explain complex concepts via analogies and make it make sense
this episode actually explains why Eric is sympathetic to Terence
Eric Weinstein vs Neal Degrass Tyson will be bigger than Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson
They don't necessarily disagree about science, Neil is an actual astrophysicist , it won't be like the Howard one
@@vaxan5126 Neil believes men and women having sports divisions is the same as apartheid in South Africa
He isn't on Terrence Howard's level
He's a company funded patsy
@@collybeans586it does. Eric got rejected by the system and has a major grudge. So much so, he validated Howard's sacred geometry bs
@@adammontgomery7980 Right, it's not that Eric is a thoughtful individual who observed that the scientific community has hijacked peer review as a moat to discredit new ideas and prevent challenge.
Sure, he articulates the issue with openness and clarity such that we may all understand that the community is using a process as a form of self-interested censorship that ultimately limits scientific understanding and, for that matter, human knowledge but...
Naw, he's just mad. Thanks for clearing that up, Montgomery.
I wish this had chapters
😂😂😂... cuz it would be awesome if you could skip to the important parts.😅
@newfreenayshaun6651 I l like to jump around in long videos, or at list see an outline of what's covered when, makes it easier to digest the information. I do this even when I end up watching the whole thing
I wish this was free to watch. Oh yeah, it is. Would u like a massage and a an ai to read it to you as well? Enjoy your future yet please don't help destroy humanity's future children due to immediate gratification/ laziness like all of these pvt tech and war machines.
@jfx5054 that's not a bad idea. Having AI watch it for me and give it chapters
The most recent pod is Stardate 2173 for those keeping track.
This was way back at Stardate 1945.
The Dark Times - the Spotify Years.
it was weird seeing people say "i hate spotify i'm not switching to it" like its super inconvenient. when all it takes is a 1 minute download, 1 minute sign in and done. Its not like spotify is a physical place you have travel miles to in order to watch an episode.
@@oui2611it’s that CZcams owns all the marketshare. Easier for everyone to use as well. Spotify is not as user friendly
This podcast marathon would take months to complete.
Probably the most open minded and outspoken geniuses of all time. This man is a treasure on the roadmap of humanity
This is an old episode long before Terrance Howard but it is a great one.
This may be the best podcast I've ever seen. Thanks for having this conversation, guys.
I don't see how Eric Weinstein rubs some people the wrong way. I love listening to what he has to say on just about any topic.
There are three options, they ignorantly follow ideals of their echo chamber, they disingenuously represent his ideals in an effort to justify their hate, or they are genuinely prejudiced against Jews
Why isn't this showing up on the main page when you click on the channel? Came here from the Terrance Howard and Eric episode. And why is this episode #1945? Reupload?
These vids get uploaded on the same day of the president debate? Is joe or CZcams trying to steer the algorithm away from the debate?
@@ZedLead clearly you since you’re commenting it everywhere hoping for a response. Answers simple: nobody cares. Now go take ur lithium
It is said that if a person cannot explain something in simple terms that they really do not understand it.
Eric understands a great deal, and I really appreciate the opportunity to listen and learn that Joe has given me.
Thank you Joe Rogan.
First JRE show I watched all the way through. Eric is dope and Joe’s listening and interview skills are exceptional.
Looks like Joe uploaded loads of old content 4 days ago. Terrance and Eric broke the Shadow ban machine of YT.
Nope..Spotify contract is over, so he uploads everything to CZcams now
I know YT is a jerk - but this really exposes your confirmation bias
Lets go boys! 4 hours of interesting conversations ahead
four hours??? pass the blunt
In future Eric Weinstein & Terrance Howard will debate on JRE 💯
So you watched podcast and went commenting old podcast comment to confuse people
My new Sunday treat....3-4 hour Rogan podcasts...just awesome
Bonus vid unlocked.
His recollection is seriously impressive. Remembers so many full names and dates.
This to me is an explanation of the Terrance and Erik video. Even though Erik appeared to be blowing off Terrance’s thoughts on gravity, he obviously is interested
The beautiful thing is that he gave Terrence his credit and also told him where he was incorrect while also adding that Terrence might not necessarily be incorrect and that there is a possibility that either Eric doesn't have a full understanding of some of Terrence's ideas or Terrence hasn't found a way to make his ideas sound cohesive enough.
The whole lesson of that episode is "don't throw the baby out with the bathwater". Something most people don't have the patience to do. Most people just completely shut Terrence down in a vitriolic way.
@@oui2611 Erik is so Jewish. This is so the way we do it. He sees the beauty in Terrance and his mind and sounds like he wants to protect and help it.
Terrance's view on gravity is ingorant af unfortunately. That's why he doesn't comment on it too much
Thank you both.
Illuminating, honest and awe inspiring conversation!
Not based on personal agreement with the arguments, but the manner in which they are presented, and the perceived intention driving them!
Masterful! We need this kind of syllabus for all of humanity.
This episode blows my mind 🤯
Watched this episode at least 3 times on Spotify, and now watching again after Terrence Howard & Eric’s JRE conversation for a refresher. Currently has only 3,982 views as I’m typing, which is wild for such an illuminating episode.
pass the blunt guys
Re-up but well worth the watch.
The Terence and Eric one was the first full jre episode I watched
6:30 "This month February 1st, 2023"
When was the original air date?
Weinstein and Rogan are excellent. They make physics as easy as a shop class!
Why is this not on the channel
They can't make the release schedule easy on us. We're toyed with like lab rats.
@@SubjectiveFunnycan’t be cos he’s wearing the same outfit so Is Joe and it was uploaded on the same day as the one with Terrence Howard
This seems to take place right before that happened
Great interview.
Supper podcast you two one of best I have herd in a long time.
I’ve seen the orbs tilt and fly off like a Nintendo 64 coin. When u started that game system
I first heard of Eric from his brother Bret.
Such incredible brothers.
37:43 If it's women's volleyball then the other team has no chance.
Joe please do with Eric vs Kaku.
Great interview. Eric always seems to make crucial observations every time he speaks. Kudos 👏😎🙏
Why does this video not appear anywhere on the JRE channel?
@@RWulff007It is, and you can find this video by searching it up, but it doesn't show up in the list of videos uploaded on this channel.
This was uploaded five days ago (as of this writing) but if you check, you can find several other videos uploaded on this day - but this one doesn't show up.
Can you imagine if comedians had to submit to peer review before it could shown to the public. 😂😂😂
Eric Weinstein is a brilliant mind! Joe Rogan thank you for such a great conversation - felt like having amazing "dinner" at a 5 Star Michelin Intellectual restaurant. This man is speaking my language or at least the one i spoke back about 40 years ago. Thank you.
Absolutely loved this whole thing. Great job
Eric is the absolute master of never answering a question directly.
I suspect most of us wouldn't understand his answers if he did, irrespective of common vernacular through metaphor or pure specialized nomenclature. I don't think it's obfuscation or a deliberate elusive sophistry. They're just high order concepts and we, the audience aren't equipped with the requisite understanding to process what is being conveyed. That said, he lays out a whole bunch of launching pads for those of us willing to pause every other sentence and get a rudimentary understanding of what he's driving at. All down to a personal cost/benefit analysis of the value in investing the time to research and vet ones sources.
@mausperson5854 He usually starts these discussions with "how would you like to ease into this?" Which I appreciate.
You have reminded me why I fell in love with physics as civilization most selfless noble but humbling ambition
I'm seeing a bunch of videos in my feed that say 4 days ago, but when i go to the channel it's not there
Some weird thing happening with the dates listed.

More Eric please! Let him be the conduit between physics and the lay person
I could listen to Eric & Joe forever. Makes me wanna work for him.
This episode is one of the best jre podcast. Atleast in top3
You could ask Eric what the weather is outside and his answer will devolve into an anecdote about aluminum siding
“Great science has an element of irresponsibility about it.” We need a lot more of this type of irresponsibility.
How often and when does the common man have access to this level of intellect in an understandable form as the JRE Podcasts? and.. in a format and presentation that is not intimidating or boring. For lack of a better word/phrase ..damn cool..
Eric w/ Salvatore Pais of Space Force (previously Naval Air Station Patuxent River) now there’s an episode…
Salvatore has many patents currently centered around gravitational control.
Funny he mentioned how big of something you could fit in something so small if you were that capable. One of the reports of one of the recovered craft were as big as a stadium inside and only 30-40’ in diameter on the outside and the person that went into it after they came out had severe nausea from it etc.
But what would you build though? What would it look like? How would it be powered but what would you build?
When eric talked about when the university screwed him over i could hear his breathing like he feels anxiety. So sorry for him. Admire him for continuing and keep trying.
This makes me wonder how some people can remember so much information! 😮. Amazing man!
Dan Winter and Eric Weinstein would be the best conversation on JRE. Dan Winter holds to patents to hydrogen charge collapse. The physics of consciousness and the physics of the soul entering the body is all Dan Winter.
Terrence is under the desk
More great minds like Eric is needed to cut through the BS and simplify life. His thinking and expression is sane and gives a person more confidence in listening to him.
This dudes ability to recall memory is unparalleled.
All i want for Christmas is Terance Katt and Billy on a podcast together
Heard it the first time on Spotify. Watching it a second on YT.
What can we read to learn more about the Hidden History of Physics spoken about around 1h?
THIS IS SOO BADASS AF JOE & ERIC !!! 🙏🏾🤙🏽🤙🏽👨🏽🚀🤠
How does this only have 700 views??
shadow banned. the episode does not show if you go on joe's page and show all videos
Now watching all stuff from Eric thanks to Terrence 😅
The Iconic Wall, when Eric was reading that I started laughing. When zJoe said it was beautiful, I wholeheartedly agreed. This is an old show, I’m listening to this between 7-4-2024 to July 7th, so far and weirdly, Eric is talking about Jim Simons and I first heard about him two days ago listening to PBD. Why am I hearing of him in a span of a couple days when he isn’t current news and ironically when I’m brokey broke! Lawdy! Fascinating stuff! I don’t even know my multiplication table, but love this conversation!
The mid 50s is when they shared their technology with us, in exchange for no more nuking.
