張勇，原藉廣東梅縣人，畢業於廣州暨南大學中醫學院。現是香港註冊中醫師、香港特別行政區註冊中醫學會名譽會長。精研中醫中藥、擅長針灸、正骨整脊、跌打傷科。八十年代師承佛山詠春宗師岑能，勤學苦練三十年盡得衣缽真傳，繼承傳統嶺南佛山文化，醫武雙承。八九年成立「廣州市武術協會詠春拳術會」，張為海外理事。二○○○年成立「嶺南傳統文化佛山詠春拳學術研究會」，直到現在醫武雙傳。

why are you holding it the other way around?
If one pays attention to his hands (especially the left one), he opens his fingers from time to time and uses right thumb pressing against the pole. This is not the right way to grep a pole. If the opponent pushes up the pole with force, how he can hold it with his right thumb and open fingers. These little details can tell if one really knows the technique one claims to have. He looks like a worker working in the old industry (hitting the cotton to soften them). Also from 1:28 - 1:30, the footwork is very strange. I wouldn't say this is traditional 六點半棍法. He should honestly say he creates on his own.
對！棍都未揸好，被人一打就甚麼"丁丁查查"都掉晒啦！槍棍時是坐低一個四平大馬。仲有好多錯，馬步怪怪的，真係好似打麵粉或打綿花，都唔知用嚟擋セ，好搞笑，算啦！唔好教精佢。跟本就唔係正宗，因為話明六點半，邊有咁多招式打咗出嚟，擺明呃人啦。

He is weak not able to hold it. Not to say to generate any power. As I see, he is very slow when poking. Well, he showed more than 六點半. Now, one must think about if this is traditional or fake.
