These days, the countries of Northern Europe are some of the most famously friendly and peaceful countries on Earth, so naturally people often ask why these countries don't just unite already... well they did try that out about 700 years ago...

An Icelander wouldn't call himself Danish either. Mostly because they have a better local name.
I checked also with others sources, and some more people. And yeah Norway did have a Nationalism Romance age, however Norway as a nation wasn't born from that.
Also, mostly only the wealthy actually learned Danish. Most people in Norway spoke with Norwegian accents which was later renewed through New-Norwegian (NY-Norsk).

Not so much forgot as Greenland wasn't inhabitable by other people than the Inuits during the medieval cooling period, abandoned i think is a better word, but yeah Denmark didn't get control over Greenland until the mid 1700s. Showing Greenland as being in control by any nation at the time is a bit wrong.

For comparison, Poland, its neighbour across the Baltic, in the same time frame took part in 267 military conflicts. It turns out Sweden has always been a peaceful place.

I'm not certain that Denmark was in control of the south baltic regions at that time, that was a very on/off kinda thing. Although the map isn't correct as it's showing the border between Prussia and Denmark as being at kongeåen, which is the borderline 1864-1920ish, the border should really incorporate a lot of northern Germany in the 1500s, atleast Slesvig and Holstein.
Although wasn't really in control of those regions, less so Pomerania, it was part of the Danish kingdom at several points throughout history.

Well said. Indeed Kalmar Union is becoming reality now when Finland is obliged into military alliance. Finland is committed in bilateral military alliance with Sweden, Finland could make same agreement with Denmark and Norway has to accept Scandinavian Union aka Kalmar Union. Sweden helped Finland enormously during winter war and after WW2. Finland is committed to protect the Northern and Arctic Hemisphere from Russia.

There was no state of Finland before 1917. Sweden didn’t hold it, it was simply eastern sweden. Same rights and obligations as the other swedish krown provinces. The language and culture was mostly Finish but there were finish speakers all over sweden back then. How the union ended depends on who you ask. But it was the Danes who started trying to control sweden and norway. They were finaly defeated after many uprisings. Sweden gott away but norway was absorbed until sweden lost Finland to Russia and decided to conquer norway, when norway refused to join Sweden in a peace deal after the Napolic wars. Norway left the union whit sweden by choice in 1905 and were finaly a free country again.

Conquer isn’t really the right word you just allied yourself with Russia and the UK you then lose the battle against Denmark despite having troops from Germany, Russia, uk. Denmark then goes bankrupt and with no allies decides to capitulate

When they were asked to join there join
So the Danish went to war with Them and won
This was just covered up by swedish historians since they are biased and it was really humiliating
And since there are more swedish historians then danes
They have the power to just remove it
