I love this Bobby Brown interview. Even though I never had cable in my homeland of Barbados because my so-called high class schoolmates do, this goes to show that someone like you have the right to post something so special like Bobby Brown and New Edition on here for those to watch and learn. I was around 14 years old when this interview was done.
Though the Movie was great and loved how they hit up on their issues/problems. But it left off some of their best songs: Don't Be Cruel, Rub You the Right Way, Tender Roni, A Little Bit of Love is All it Takes, and at least 3 Slow Cuts (Rick singing lead) from BBD. They also didn't quite hit at how BIG Bobby Brown became, 88-90 specifically. He was huge.
I agree. They didn't show how much bigger Bobby actually was than the rest of the group. They made it seem like Bobby was just an arrogant dickhead, and he was, but he movie would make you think it was because he was delusional. Nah, lol, he had a reason to be arrogant, he became the biggest artist on the planet at the time.
Mike, what it is/was be it Luck/Hook/Crook,...Bobby JUSTIFIED why he was an A-Hole:):) At least for about 3Straight Years. I'm shocked he survived that level of Fame, $$s, women, Drugs, the business,...and to his credit he's admitted his dirt.
I'll always love B. Brown. Yes, life has dealt plenty of ups, and downs. But, his success is undeniable, and he truly was and is a great, great entertainer. And, he kinda' sorta' sounds like Mike Tyson in this interview.
