if you guys actually want to learn the real routine please do as I say because I used this method to try and learn How You Like That and I actually know the steps and dance fully :)
1. Find out which dance wanna learn try not to pick one very difficult
2. Watch the artists dance video a couple times and if you know the song already try to watch in which part of the whole song each of the dance moves are
3. when listening to the song and finding out which dance moves happens when, try starting off by watching what dance moves happen when the CHROUS plays
4. Watch the CHROUS cheorgraphy a bunch of times (when I say bunch I mean watch almost at least 10 times or until you know exactly how the CHROUS choreography goes.
5. Once you've mezmorised *what the dancers do in the chrous* start to attempt to do what the dancers do but take it slow and really listen for the music and know when each lyric plays a certain move will be done
6. You're not done yet sorry :( so after spending enough time on learning the chrous watch the whole video (of the original choreography danced BY THE ARTISTS) watch the whole reference video and than when the chrous comes up try to attempt to dance like the artists, but remember you're still only dancing the chrous
7. Once you genuinely have memorized the chrous and know the dance of the chrous by memory, start rewatching the whole video but you're not dancing the chrous out, you will watch it till you feel it's really time to stop
8. after taking a break which can even be a whole day later, start watching the same video reference again and see if you remembered the chrous choreography, make sure you sing along to the dance so you when which lyric is which ever move, after doing this and watching the video at least more than 5 times try to follow every move the artists does
9.Whilet copying what the artists does, every OTHER time you watch the video (if you're confused it's just you try to dance to the video, than take a break and watch, than follow the video and so on) see if you did any mistakes and by this step hopefully you've learned to gain the ability or memory skill of being able to sing the song and know what move the artist will do next and use this skill to than on your own put the lyrics and beat of the song together will what moves you've memorized.
10. You've memorized a bit of the song choreography and are able to either dance or know and try out to do the exact same choreography as your artist!
*This seems like a lot and very specific BUT I used this way of how I naturally learn things like dance moves and learned how to do the whole How You Like That by BLACKPINK dance and if only took me 2-3 days to learn!
