This is a short video for those who are stuck in the tower in Desmond's vision of Altair. This is for the PC version, but it works for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version as well.

😂 Not really. It's hard, but AC Brotherhood has an Animus VR free-run training course that has to be completed within 40 seconds to get the gold medal. I tried so many times, but missed it by just 1 second. It's LITERALLY PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to complete it within 40 seconds.

Another solution for PC players: Knock off the lamp, jump on the ledge facing the door and press jump+high profile facing the pole. Don't choose a direction (W, A, S, D).

Easier way to do it. Climb up the wall on either side of the beam and then jump to the right or left onto the beam when you’re at the highest point. The added jump gives you extra height than it usually would if you just tried to climb up directly under the beam.

I still love using the wall ejects whenever I can in assassin creed games.
Just sorta wish there wasn’t as many things that made it pointless or even slower than normal in the newer games but even in AC2 I commonly used ejects as it was faster and boosted my massive ego.

Ngl it’s incredibly easy, run up the wall and jump to your left/right depending on which side of the wall you ran up. Just angle the camera to go that way. I’m not even trying to brag, I remember they did a tutorial for it either in the catacombs or in a mission just before that so I knew exactly what I needed to do. Never skip the tutorials kids.

Doing this in october 2023. When you're on the edge of the "balcony" facing the tower, don't press any direction, just press Right Trigger + A button on the XBox controller (on PC).

@@haltocarrick5504 weirdly, you dont learn any of the techniques required for this. You never need to jump from standing position so its assumed you always have to run forward to climb. Neither is the "advemced wall jump" required until this point. Im sure the high jump is the intended move here but neither first nor secobd gamr ever tought you that its possible

You can also preform a wall jump. Run up the wall where it meets the balcony, and then jump 90 degrees onto the beam.
This parkour mechanic is explained in one of the optional Assassin tombs.
